Anyone else finding the Reachabiltiy gesture really hard to hack. It’s soooo difficult especially when Chrome is your preferred browser

I’m in exactly the same boat. I’ve made a new Apple ID to try same day reservations too.So what’s the thinking that my iUP order (64GB SG) for the 18th Nov will be bumped forward?
I missed the first batch because the store wouldn’t load and am now seeing others move forward, or reserve on the day; instead of me (and others) being moved forward.
As it was mentioned above, it seems it’s possible for people to order the exact same model through the iUP and walk in and collect today - effectively skipping the queue. Obviously I’m not going to risk cancelling but it’s a bit frustrating!
I reckon so. It’s odd I know.So on the preorder morning I used my iUP to reserve a silver 256 which is slated “before 18 November”
Does this mean I need to cancel that reservation (lose my place in the queue) and risk seeing if there is anything more closer?
I would have thought they would have pushed forward any existing iUP reservations with available iUP stock. Why are they letting iUP to skip the queue over iUP customers that have already reserved??
Fantastic.@jabingla2810 My order is now showing as complete and I can track with DPD. Hope yours has also been dispatched?
interesting, I was just looking at the currys website and it says in stock on the 17thJust phoned a John Lewis store who suggested they are expecting stock on 10th Nov.
I believe you have at least 1 or 2 month to get applecare for your new devices. My iPhone X is still in the “Processing” phase my delivery date is between the 13th-20th. Does anyone know if I can buy Apple Care+ after getting the phone? Or could a add it now without my delivery date altering?

I believe you can purchase it for up to 60 days, I’m not sure if this is from the point of order, dispatch or receipt. My iPhone X is still in the “Processing” phase my delivery date is between the 13th-20th. Has got to be receipt or it feels like some of us won't be able toI believe you can purchase it for up to 60 days, I’m not sure if this is from the point of order, dispatch or receipt.
In the case of pre-orders, definitely receipt as you were charged when it shipped. Keep your tracking number so you can prove when you received your iPhone.Has got to be receipt or it feels like some of us won't be able to![]()
I believe so. This is currently the batch that I am sat in
Don’t know for definite if every store has the machine, but I would guess they do. The Belkin protectors they fit in store are a different part number/slightly different to the protectors you can fit yourself. I purchased a Belkin Invisiglass Ultra on the Apple website this morning (£19.95) & opted to collect in store, thinking I could ask for the protector to be fitted in store, but when I asked, they told me that they would need to refund me for the protector I purchased for collection (& return it to stock), then put through a new transaction for the machine fitted version. It cost me £29.95 for the machine fitted version, so basically a £10 premium for having it fitted.
The regular ‘fit yourself’ protectors are in cardboard retail style packaging, whilst the protectors that are fitted in store are in cellophane packaging and they have them stacked in a pile next to the machine on one of the tables.
I figure that this is a bit of a money spinner for Apple - the service was proving popular in the Liverpool store this afternoon, with four of us queing to have a protector fitted to iPhone X...there were more staff on hand to fit the protectors than machines, the assistant who served me mentioned that the store currently only had one machine for the iPhone X (think they had multiple machines in store for the other models of iPhone)
If want fitted though I think you have to buy in store as opposed to ordering one you do yourself online. The DIY kit is actually £10 cheaper than the one they fit in store.
I have used these for my last couple of phones and the fit is second to none. However I do find the Belkin glass breaks more easily than other brands. It can therefore get expensive to have to keep replacing!!!!
Do we need these if on IUP with AppleCare+ does anyone think? I've always used (non glass type) protectors, BestSkinEver type. But bare screen is great at moment, I have a case but only for back. Just thinking worse case £25 if scratched?Love to see some pics of if. How close to the edge it goes, thickness near bottom edge![]()
I wouldn’t order it now, I added a case to my phone order last year and it delayed the order for some reason, dropped back a week.My iPhone X is still in the “Processing” phase my delivery date is between the 13th-20th. Carephone warehouse says delivery by 10.11 or 17.11 is it guaranteed or will they push it? Are they taking money straight away or on dispatch?
