Also, looks like the stores have some stock for iUP. 256 SG available in CG. You can just ask them to pay in full on arrival.

It’s also odd that my upgrade eligibility is showing I can upgrade for £703 store payment. I owe more than £703 on this.

Did anyone who ordered through Argos on Friday morning get their delivery yesterday?

I have questions about CPW delivery dates. On their iPhone X page it says "Delivery by November 10," will I be able to get it on the Nov 10 or they are just lying

I just asked them on the chat and they said that will deliver on the day as this is when they are predicting to get stock and deliver. Left my basket as not trusting them now :/ sound just like curry’s

Let me know what they tell you on the chat

How did you get to this page?

Thanks for the reply. Im going to keep checking as I get up at 6 during the week for work. Im going to have to work out if buying the phone outright each year and trading it in is better value than the IUP. IUP you are guarenteed a value and a new phone, where-as buying it outright you gamble slightly that you could get more money from selling the phone elsewhere!

I just asked apple online, and the agent suggested it is up to the discretion of the store as to if they will refund me, and sell it back to me on UIP

Even if you are on IUP you can still sell privately and then pay off your IUP loan. Even envirofone and the like would have given you more money this year (based on my 7+) than the remaining balance on IUP.

Only issue would be is being without a phone for a while whilst you pay off your IUP. Not sure if you only paid off after signed up to the new one( ie having two IUP contacts running in parallel) would cause problems with Barclays and the credit check

I keep refreshing and get nothing :/ maybe because I am after 256gb silver one I don’t know

I’d guess that payment would take you to the 11 payments needed to upgrade. You’d then have to hand the phone back as well. If you paid off the balance of IUP yourself then you’d keep the phone.

Yeah they’ll take that. As long as it’s not smashed to pieces otherwise you’d have to get it repaired under Apple care terms first.

My 7+ screen has been generally well cared for but I can see quite a few little ‘micro scratches’. These bug the hell out of me. If I was purchasing under IUP I’d probably care less as I wouldn’t be having the hassle of selling privately next year.

(Saying that I probably still would sell myself and clear off the loan for IUP as it’s get more money for the phone than the remaining balance).

Anyone got any concrete proof that (I.e. they’ve done it) that could can take an online order that’s been payed in full and get switched over to IUP? (Refund and rebuy)

I was at the store yesterday and asked if that was possible and was told definitely yes but to try not to open the phone to make the process simpler.

Only saw a 256 silver at Bromley this morning and a 256 sg at Covent Garden this morning. Both gone in seconds. Had the Bromley one in my bag and picked a slot too. The next screen and it was gone

Another great performance by Apple's reserve and pick up servers. I know there isn't going to be any stock at the moment anyway, but what are they running this on? ZX Spectrums?

£703.45 is correct. There's 11*£63.95 payments left for eligibility to upgrade which is £703.45

Spoke to Apple via the live chat and they’ve also said it would be fine. So that’s good

Wouldn’t trust anything they say to be honest. IF you have an Apple order as backup you could give it a go but don’t expect a phone from them on the 10th or any other date they randomly throw at you! As with most other third party sellers they, at the start, sell stock that they don’t actually have.
