Does anybody know what the chances are of collecting from Apple store earlier than your booked slot? I’ve tried to find a previous post but don’t seem to be able to. I’ve been called into work for my 6pm slot. So it’s either now or lose it!

I got mine at 8am on launch day, despite having a 11:30 reservation, they really weren't that bothered

Anyone else’s iPhone X have a pink tint at the edge of the display?
Mine has a slight pink tint noticeable on the upper right ‘ear’ to the right of the notch and it goes down the edge of the display till about the half way point and it’s maybe 3mm deep from the edge of the screen.
It’s noticeable on white backgrounds and not on dark.
I might make a thread, no one has mentioned it on the past 5/6 pages.

It's all arbitrary. It's not as if they won't serve you until 6pm. Just rock up, tell them the situation, they'll go get your phone. The slots are merely to prevent a cascade of people turning up at once.
Perfectly normal for OLED. It used to be really bad on some Samsungs but on the iPhone X it's better. Not everyone can see it regardless of whether or not it is there so don't worry about what has already been posted.
It's the same story for many other attributes. Mine looks like it has really bad blue shift, but compared to display models, some are better and some are worse.
These all come under manufacturing variances rather than faults.

Fully understand that but i'd think about using the voucher and save yourself £100/£120. Think of it as costing them some of their profit if it makes you feel better.
Yesterday, I compared my screen side by side to a phone in an apple store. I found my screen a bit yellower.
I asked a staff there and she said it is all right for her. I am not sure if I should return mine.
Make sure to test with True Tone off. True Tone will adjust the colour temperature of the screen to “bette fit” the current lighting.

Yes. I have checked thst. In this thread, I can adjust the hue so my screen is all right now.

I cancelled on the day, and got the code earlier this afternoon.
That’s true I suppose, I think if it came up that I could collect in store I’d be more comfortable but definitely wouldn’t be ordering for home delivery again

No regrets in getting my iPhone 10 got really used to it already and it feels like a very well built phone, got a case and screen protector on and a film to cover the back from scratches.
May get a rear protector at some point and also added it to Barclays gadget insurance right away so at least I am now fully covered.

I cancelled on Friday,not heard anything since. At least I now have the money back in my account.
