If this is all down to the factory struggling to make enough, it’s bizarre the way Apple have down it his year.

I know! Most of the major cities have had stock this week, but nothing made it over here
Now I understand why my iUP pickup date is not moving.... Simply there is no 64GB silver at all. When would be the next batch delivery? My pickup date is "by 18th" but I am away from 17th for one week. So if I can't get it by 16th then my reservation will be cancelled and I have to reserve it again... Then I won't be able to get it this year I am afraid.

Yeah my preorder on the iup for a 64gb silver is by the 18th too... I’m off on hols on the 16th so I’m just hoping I can pick one up reserving at 6am one morning don’t care if it’s the black one or the silver one anymore!
Nothing in Newcastle again either. We have two Apple Stores up here in the Gateshead Metrocentre and Newcastles Eldon Square.
I spoke with a guy from Currys yesterday and they said they should be receiving a batch on the 10th so here's hoping I'll be able to get mine soon. I'm just glad I'm not on iUP you guys seem to be getting it rough.

Apple allowed existing iUP customers in *US* can reserve a phone a week ago from 27th October. I feel like other iUP customers are third citizens.

I joined the iUP last year and was unable to get my order through for a SG256 until around 8.15 on the 27th. That left me with a 1 December delivery date. 2 weeks later and that hasn't changed and it would seem that 256 models in either colour are rarer than hen's teeth - unless you live in China, in which case you can order upwards of 10 an hour. I've been up at 6 every morning this week, only to be sorely disappointed. I keep checking my iUP order page in the hope that it might shift but it's stuck on 1 Dec and not moving. I know it's only a phone, but you build yourself up every day thinking that tomorrow I'll get one - only tomorrow never comes...
UK gets a handful of unwanted 64GB models, meanwhile in the US every store is replenished to an extent that allows all models to remain in stock for hours.

All the way to Manchester. It would take 45 mins to get here. It’s hardly a massive distance to be able to get the phone your waiting for. When I look for stock I always cover Leeds and Liverpool in my quest!!
Yours might be moved early next week. I am a 13-20 and mine is still not shipped yet. And I was a 8:10 confirmation email. So they are still working through orders
