Guys - just order the phone as normal, even if you want to do Upgrade program - and when you go to collect (you’ll have 2 weeks to do so, ignore the 30 min reservation window), convert to upgrade program. They’ll do the whole process in store, and if for whatever reason you don’t get approved for the loan, just cancel the order.

I did this with two phones on two different days.

Mine is also locked away by DPD

Apparently it's in a "Monday Trailer" - did they say this to you also? Basically any deliveries scheduled for Monday are locked up in their Monday trailer over the weekend for security reasons.

I even rang dpd on Friday afternoon explaining that I would like to upgrade to Saturday delivery or I can go pick it up today. The person on the phone said ok I’ll make a note in the system. The package arrived the local depot this morning. I visit the depot and they tell me that there is no mention of this and it’s locked away until the early hours of Monday morning. She even says to me why I didn’t tell them sooner otherwise they would have taken the package out ready.

Now the painful wait for Monday....

So how does istocknow work? The map is now showing there’s stock in Leeds but when I click on it it just shows online? Leeds definitely wasn’t showing on the map earlier

Just setting mine up now, very impressed with it so far and big step up from an iPhone 6. Face ID working perfectly and quickly. Anyone waiting on one won't be disappointed.

Happy with my Silver choice. Not typically a fan of white back as a colour but the true stainless steel band is really nice and I suppose it looks like less of a fingerprint magnet, too.

How do you distinguish between iPhones available for iUP only and those that are not?

It was on the IStockNow map so tried my app and it was there. I guess it was one that had been wrongly classified, and should have been a IUP

Just back from the Trafford centre. Absolutely stunning. I love it already. Within a few minutes the fingerprint sensor on my 7 seems really, really dated.

I know. I’m annoyed with myself that I didn’t just order two silvers yesterday when I had the chance! I’m now sat here on my 7 plus which feels so old compared with my wife’s X haha enjoy your new phone!

I need some help from anyone who's had their phone delivered by UK Mail...

My iPhone X was dispatched yesterday and I was told via Syncreon's and UK Mail's tracking that it would be delivered on Monday 13 November. However, when I checked the website this morning it said it was out for delivery today.

No one was in today so I got a card through the door giving me redelivery options. I went online to arrange redelivery for Monday 13 November, but it errors. I have tried ringing them to arrange delivery for Monday but it's all automated and gives Tuesday 14 November as the earliest delivery date.

Will they automatically try again on Monday? Do I definitely need to rearrange delivery manually before they'll come out to me again?
