It will if you get the unlocked and in full price. Planning on doing the same and saving like £200 on the X.
Hi bud,

Yeah I plan on getting a friend to order online from HK Apple Store on pre order day as I go to HK at the end of the month. Thanks for letting me know they work fine over here

Toying with what colour X to try and pre-order.

Space Grey is going to be a finger print magnet and I know they've said the glass is more robust but should the back scratch it will probably show up easier. But how the device will appear seamless is appealing - almost like the jet black iPhone 7.

Silver will be less of a finger print magnet on the rear and should it scratch I don't think it will he as noticeable. The stainless steel is going to be like the Apple Watch - so that silver steel colour that's nice when new but can scuff up (but I guess it can be polished).

Hmm.

I’m pretty much set on the silver but hopefully we’ll have more hands on reviews and comparisons before pre order time

Well favourited the one I'm after and also have the EPP store web page ready. No discount but hey there may be slightly less traffic to that site than the regular apple one lol...

The lord Francis always looks down on us.

The battery life has deteriorated significantly on my original Apple Watch. The only way I can get mine to last a full day 4 am to 11 pm is to use it in theatre mode.
I can get 2 and a half days with mine (I wear it between 7am and 6pm Mon - Fri, the rest of the time, it sits on the charger on my night stand).

Will Japanese models of the x work over here? Either I’ll be over there at Easter or there is a remote chance my in laws get one before then. About £750 before tax for the 64gb

Yup, that’s the point of the Qi standard

Yes that was one of the things I was very happy to see on Tuesday. Apple not coming up with something different for once...
A fair number of new cars are getting them in as well, and that would be daft to have to spec different wireless chargers in the car when it's built...
The Nokia charger was a clearance item when I got my MS Lumia as it was the discontinued model. I actually need to find it now it can serve a dual purpose...!

Yes - less pinkish than I feared. Who knows with lighting though. Guess we’ll soon find out

Edit: another shot

Jap iPhones won't work over here

We're busy getting ready for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
Come back soon to pre-order an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus with all these great EE benefits:

  • Get a new iPhone every year with EE Annual Upgrade
  • Six free months of Apple Music, with the data on us
  • Plus, add the Apple Watch Series 3 (4G) - the first smart watch to connect directly to 4G. So you can leave your phone behind. Only with an iPhone on EE
All on the UK network with 4G in more places.

same on EE store

After declaring myself out of this upgrade cycle (first time since 2012) I think I might be back in for an 8 Plus. Actually coming from a 7 plus so spent the last couple of days trying to rationalise it. Could get by with 64gb rather than 128gb, can benefit from faster charging as I have the adapter already. Wireless charging with AirPower for all my devices, better camera features etc. Even pulled together a spreadsheet considering depreciation of 7 plus in a year offsetting the additional upfront charge required for 8 plus now and higher resell in time for an X-2 in 2018.

I think I might need COUNSELLING
You're not alone brother...
[doublepost=1505452930][/doublepost]So...

I'm torn.

"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

I was set to keep my 7+, then getting an X, now an 8+.

I can't bring myself to drop £1400 on a phone, so I'm thinking of the 8+ on iUP.

The main "reason" is I can use the £470 from Envirophone to offset most of the monthly payments, but more "importantly", I'm good to go for next year's phone on iUP.
