Managed to borrow a iPhone SE 128GB for a couple of months, that'll do for now until I can get the iPhone X

Not me! Am waiting for the X. But am hoping to say "I've ordered/reserved my first :apple: watch"!

Just can't decide on the 38mm or 42mm. I don't want a chunky watch but I don't have the daintiest of wrists either...... I have never tried one on either - regretting that now!

Annoying not really any posts on ordering the watch in the UK on the watch forum. I would prefer to reserve for pick up but don't think that will possible......

Might be a good sign in getting the stock you want.

Getting LTE?

I'm pretty sure it works like this:
You have to pay £69 upfront into the iUP, which would come out of your trade money, and the rest would be taken off the loan, which might mean, you could clear the loan in 18 months for example instead of 20, unless you plan on trading it in next year, in which case I'm unsure

Last year I joined the iUP and traded in a 6 Plus at the same time. I had to pay the £69 up front and the term of the loan wasn't reduced. They credited the full value of the trade-in 6 Plus to my credit card separately.

Don't go for 38mm... I have a thin arm and I am overall not a tall person, but the 42mm looks great, if I say so myself :) the missus likes it too ;)

I have compared with the one of my friend and tried the 38mm on and it confirmed I made the right choice.

Back to topic: still not sure at all. I don't think it's worth upgrading from 7plus to 8plus. The X is very tempting but I am getting the Apple Watch LTE. We also go on holiday in November to Florida... Xbox One X coming out, `AirPod at the end of the year..... I guess I can't have it all :)

Thanks - good to know.

I think those already on IUP and upgrading can do preapprovals already and then complete reservation tomorrow.

I would go 42mm I am a woman and find the 38mm to small. Hoping to order the iPhone 8 plus gold on iPhone payments at 8.01 and also track down a cheap gen1 42mm Apple Watch.

Okay I think I’ve decided on an 8 rather than an 8+.

I think.

99% sure.

Maybe 93%.

But that battery on the plus...

No it’s too big. I like one handed use.

But that screen though...

^^^ me every 15 seconds tonight.

HELP

The 8+ is heavier than the 7+ too. But the battery life much better than it’s smaller sibling
