Not me! Am waiting for the X. But am hoping to say "I've ordered/reserved my first :apple: watch"!

Just can't decide on the 38mm or 42mm. I don't want a chunky watch but I don't have the daintiest of wrists either...... I have never tried one on either - regretting that now!

Annoying not really any posts on ordering the watch in the UK on the watch forum. I would prefer to reserve for pick up but don't think that will possible......

42mm without question. It’s not chunky

I’m sure you did the same last year too! So what case did you go for?
Hahah well I’m very limited on colour choice so it’s made it easier this year. Haven’t had a black iPhone in ages so I thought it was time.

Don't go for 38mm... I have a thin arm and I am overall not a tall person, but the 42mm looks great, if I say so myself :) the missus likes it too ;)

I have compared with the one of my friend and tried the 38mm on and it confirmed I made the right choice.

Back to topic: still not sure at all. I don't think it's worth upgrading from 7plus to 8plus. The X is very tempting but I am getting the Apple Watch LTE. We also go on holiday in November to Florida... Xbox One X coming out, `AirPod at the end of the year..... I guess I can't have it all :)

I’m going to Florida in a couple of weeks for the MIcrosoft conference. And already pre-ordered my Scorpio

Has anyone seen any price plans apart from 3 or sky? Usually Carphone messes up and releases the plans early but have tried all the previous tricks on their site and had no luck

I really cannot be arsed with the hassle of pre ordering an iPhone after last year so I'm sticking with my 7 Plus.

Have fun to those that are after the 8/X

:D

42mm is not chunky. I wish they did an even bigger one.

I am female and my hubby would prefer I stopped buying new gadgets

Does anyone know if Tesco (regular not Tesco Mobile) is doing preorders tomorrow? I saw that they have a £25 coupon which at least works with the iPhone 7.

I know we're going o/t but as a female with small wrists and hands the 38mm is just right for me. The battery does quite often not last the day though (series 0). I honestly believe you won't know which is the right size for you until it's on your wrist...

I think you are right. Although I prefer a small watch face these days I'll order both and if I manage to try one over the eeekend I'll cancel one if not will just return.

Wake up 7.30
Ready for pre order

Going for 8 plus space grey 64gb. I've never used a Plus model so looking forward to it.

Any suggestions for qi chargers?

Is there a way to preset your preferred Apple store? I'd probably go to the Covent Garden one which is closest to my work, but that’s nowhere near my registered delivery address

I think I've settled on the same. Coming from a 6 it's a reasonable spec bump and I like the look of the camera improvements.

I've got a £6 QI charger, it's a Nokia one

I'm still using my original first series Apple Watch(42mm) - and it's still going strong. I wouldn't use any of the new feature of the new Watch so I'm happy sticking with my one!

I'm sure that Francis will look down upon everyone pre-ordering tomorrow!

Where he will look down upon us when X time comes around is another matter...
The lord Francis always looks down on us.

The battery life has deteriorated significantly on my original Apple Watch. The only way I can get mine to last a full day 4 am to 11 pm is to use it in theatre mode.

Might go series 2 clearance rather than series 3

Toying with what colour X to try and pre-order.

Space Grey is going to be a finger print magnet and I know they've said the glass is more robust but should the back scratch it will probably show up easier. But how the device will appear seamless is appealing - almost like the jet black iPhone 7.

Silver will be less of a finger print magnet on the rear and should it scratch I don't think it will he as noticeable. The stainless steel is going to be like the Apple Watch - so that silver steel colour that's nice when new but can scuff up (but I guess it can be polished).

Hmm.

I have a second charger in the car so it gets a top up on the way home...
