Messed my order up slightly as it turns out I'll be paying for the phone outright......

Had a chat with an Apple rep online who says I can get a full refund and then sign up to the payment plan when I'm in store collecting the phone. Got myself a screen shot of that conversation!!

What a muppet!! :(

I do hope that is the case for everyone. Still unable to join IUP via the app (keep getting the error mentioned earlier...), and have just tried on my Mac, and even though I don't get the error there, for some reason some combinations of size and storage are just not available...
Come 8.01 on the 27th of October, I won't be faffing around with the IUP, will just go straight to normal pre-order with reservation in store, and then hope that when picking the phone up will be given the option to join IUP and have a refund!
Another month a half to go, jeez...

No very easy unlimited setting on Netflix 4g biggest data hogger. (Two films your already used up 3-4gb)
watch youtube on 1080p (2 hours youtube at 1080p 2gb-4gb )
Nowtv on 4g
BBC iplayer over 4g
Spotify premium
Tuneinradio

all adds up that isn't even trying lol doing that everyday 10gb for 30days 300gb this is the many reason I stick to three uk all u can eat upto 1000gb data usage.

Can you tether off the sim?, I dont think you could use a 4G router?

Bloody hell what planet are O2 on iPhone 8 50gb data £119 upfront £84 a month for 24 months £2135 whole contract.(Should be unlimited everything)

iPhone 8 £699 SIM FREE FROM APPLE + 12 MONTHS £25 £300 100GB DATA SIM UNLIMITED TEXT AND MINUTES from three = £999
iPhone 8 £699 SIM FREE + 24 MONTHS £25 £600 100GB DATA SIM UNLIMITED TEXT AND MINUTES FROM from three = £1299

If your a high data usage your better off using Apple upgrade program or purchase it sim free.

Yes they give you free 30gb each month tethering data.
They now do £25 sim only with 100gb data each month including 30gb tethering data.

Whats wrong with Very v other retailer ie John Lewis, Apple, amazon?

Returns
"Packaging
The Very returns policy states that items must be returned in 21 days. The item must not have been used or altered in any way. For items that have some parts missing at purchase, Very offers to send the missing parts or replace the item in entirety. Security tags and original labels that were on the item must also be intact and attached to the item. The customer should also attach a returned goods note on the package."

So once box opened you cant return under Very T&C

http://returnspolicy.net/v/very/

Very poor show.
By law you're allowed to open and inspect any goods purchased online.

£74 a month with £100 upfront for 40GB + extra 10GB of 4G data

LMFAO £74 per month. These carriers have gone insane. They need to start offering cheaper plans, not everyone needs 40-50 GB data. I hope they launch a more reasonable plan, I mean I get it, you have to pay £42/£48 per month just towards the 64GB/256GB device, but adding an additional £30-40 on top of it for data is insane, they should offer cheaper plans, like 2-5GB of data, which should come to £10 more, so total price falls between £55-60 a month.

Crazy some carriers still offer you 500mb LMFAO you can burn that in whatsapp or twitter in one single day.
Next your stuck with 29 days till your next billing date just making phone calls and sending messages. lmfao

Remember the good old days iPhone 4 on three one plan unlimited everything no upfront cost £35
or O2 iPhone 3GS no upfront cost £35 for 24 months.
My parents two years ago purchased a Galaxy S6 free phone 24 months for £34 with 4gb data 2000 minutes and 5000 text. (Tesco mobile)

The poll results are looking pretty interesting at the moment, and if they are representative of the market as a whole they demonstrate that more people are intent on ordering the iPhone X rather than the iPhone 8 (99 to 76 respectively).

It's also apparent that the iPhone 8 Plus is more popular than the iPhone 8 (50 to 26 respectively). Mmmm.

Yeah, to be honest I think some people may be fine with 500MB, including me. I have WiFi at uni, WiFi at home, and there's WiFi in buses and coaches and there's public WiFi hotspots, I rarely have to use data. I have a 20GB plan, but on average I use less than 1GB. Sometimes it has gone to 4GB, but that's extremely rare. I can just pay extra to get more data if I ever need it in emergency, like £10 for 2GB data (bit pricey though).

Agreed, so why are Very's T&C in conflict with the law.
It appears they want to stop returns, esp. for less knowagable folk

They probably have buried somewhere the old 'doesn't affect your statutory rights' and rely on people's ignorance or trust!

Saw this on O2.
Going to Sky if they're competitive.

Worth bearing in mind that this forum is full of those who are enthusiasts. Hoping that the wider market is less inclined to drop £1k+ on a phone than us obsessives!

I've just spazzed out at O2 because they won't renew the £5 p/m loyalty discount on my £35 p/m 30GB refresh tariff.

Only to find out that it's probably the best £/GB tariff around, especially as it allows data sharing with my iPad SIM.

Anyone shopping at very.co.uk do not they are cowboys. Warning AVOID
15 Phone calls to replace a faulty tv.
Ask for refund they said no reason why you opened the packaging. Please read our T&C I spent 40 minutes arguing with the distance selling laws.
They even told me to send it back to the manufacturer for repair.
At the end I done a chargeback with my credit card company.
Two weeks later they came and picked the fault tv.

This is what I can see...

Can you actually pick a different day and time and then click next and looks ok? What is this on? The store app on iPhone or Mac etc please?

Been on to Apple UK store chat and asked, they said sorry you'd have to wait until the next day to check as it's only 7 days ahead. I mentioned that all the X would be sold out by then!

Here is my gripe. I am with EE and want to add a line, problem is I want it on the upgrade plan but when I log in it wants to give me 10% discount (Great) but then it means I cannot take out that plan.

So to get that phone on that plan it means I am required to start as a brand new customer and go through a credit check, even though I am eligible for five devices!

I can take out a new line over the phone but it means I lose £93 TCB
