Anyone shopping at very.co.uk do not they are cowboys. Warning AVOID
15 Phone calls to replace a faulty tv.
Ask for refund they said no reason why you opened the packaging. Please read our T&C I spent 40 minutes arguing with the distance selling laws.
They even told me to send it back to the manufacturer for repair.
At the end I done a chargeback with my credit card company.
Two weeks later they came and picked the fault tv.

Thank you for posting this as it veryfies what I said earlier.
The Barclay Twins https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_and_Frederick_Barclay sitting pretty in their castle on Sark while ordinary folk get made to feel like criminals for wanting to return something.

Any progress on yours yet?

Nope. Money still in the account. Apple might have a separate stock just for the stores and that might already be in the UK so those phones would then ship only like on Thu or Wed since they'r already in the country. Cant think of another explanation because I placed my order right after their store opened this morning. Wouldn't be worried at all.

Well the Anker wireless charger arrived. Hardly constitutes a review but looks pretty decent. Smaller than I expected (7 plus included for scale)

Just ordered mine through EE over the phone. Had to beat them down a bit but I think I got an ok deal.

£250 upfront and then £37 a month for a 8+ with 10gb data, which is plenty for me. Not sure I'll get it next Friday but I'm not that bothered.

Yeah, again plenty for me. Similar deal with o2 I saw on mobiles.co.uk but I like EE, think it's a better network and you get Apple Music for free for a while.

Will be frightening to see the prices for the X range, from the network providers. I plan to buy it straight away and not bother with the upgrade scheme. Cant help but feel that everyone is holding off for the X. Hence why no phones sold out today I don't believe

Well 10&20GB tariffs on O2 are £72 & £77 a month with £29 & £39 upfront costs. 64GB handset I presume.

I don' think I could honestly part with 1k in one swoop, would rather spread the cost with IUP.

Is that for the X or 8?
The worry is, if the phone doesn't arrive until start of next year then I assume the agreement doesn't start until you get the phone. When you then want to get the latest phone in Sept 18 you won't be able too until Jan 19 potentially.

The longer it takes the cheaper it will be to pay my contract off so it's not a big deal for me if I cannot get it on launch day and it will also take me a good month or two to actually decide what to do, buy it outright, credit card, IUP etc

I’ve never had it not move to processing though.

I've seen some rip off tariffs in my time but O2s "pay for your device in full tariff" is another level:

1GB data/unlimited mins texts - £19 a month plus £771 up front - iPhone 8 64GB and a 24 month contract

Keep in mind the iPhone 8 64Gb costs £699 from Apple direct :eek::eek:

Utter robbery
Why would anyone sign up for that? Shocking!

For that very reason I have always purchased my iPhone's outright with Apple and I'm on a rolling contract with o2 for £16 a month for 5GB unlimited unlimited win win

That's fine because there'll prob be delivery delays due to demand next year too! Be exceptional if not....

Unbelievable and it's £1,011 for the 8+ 256bg compared to £949 direct! I wondered if the upfront cost include advance line rental? I don't so though as difference is more than one months kine rental.
