Are you going with envirofone then? The music magpie is a little more. (£650)

Only seeing £591 on magpie now, assume you locked in earlier?

I’ve got £635 locked in with envirofone (14 days is up on 25th) so tempted to see if Apple let me take my reserved upgrade handset as a brand new IUP without closing the existing. Only nagging issue in the back of the mind is if Barclays don’t like 2 parallel IUP agreements but credit itself is not an issue. Don’t want to shoot myself in the foot and end up having to buy the phone outright

Try again and use code Tech10. Gives you £650.10.

Interesting thanks for the info. Just tried to chat with Apple with 3 different advisors and none of them knew if what I am asking is possible or not.

So essentially I cannot leave the upgrade programme unless I pay the 20 months balance off. That’s annoying and affects my plan!!

I spoke with Apple on the phone about this earlier. They confirmed you can't just hand the phone back unless you're going the upgrade route. They also said if I used their giveback service it would be in the form of a Apple gift card.

I'm going to have to sell my 8 plus then use the cash to pay off the Barclays loan

My outlaws are in Croydon and the Three signal has always been ok but if you go into London watch out! We were there for a Uni open day with daughter, walked out the station wanting google maps to guide us and got nothing! Had to reboot phone and then used the offline mode of City Mapper which I’d saved previously!!
If I lived in London I’d ditch Three at this point! Why have a £1000 phone that you can’t use???
When we were there I though it was just glitching, it’s only this past couple of days that I’m seeing there’s more to it!!

Unfortunately, London is quite notorious for naff signal - especially in and around train stations during peak times, no matter who the carrier is. 4G is sometimes painfully slow around these places due to the sheer volume of people all trying to access data services at the same time.

Carriers need to update their infrastructures around these areas......

That's why I LOVE it! :D my phones have been black, slate grey (my favourite!) or space grey with the exception of the 8 Plus. I generally wear mostly black (it's a running joke amongst friends) so to have one item that stands out works for me LOL

Did you have any problems with payment it seems they have charged my credit card twice ?
No, All peachy. But they are more than capable of screwing up at any point in the process, so they might have got that bit right for me, but there's plenty that could still go wrong.

Has anyone ordered from o2? They are showing deliveries "from September 21". I ordered on 15th (Max, SG, 256GB). My order remains "In Progress".
They always use that wording, every year. I guess they're covering themselves. My experience has been they will deliver on that date, but no promises.

I was fine last year. And had another Barclays Finance Plan too for some bunkbeds. No issue whatsoever.

....I wonder if it’s a matte gold colour or a shiny mirror like gold colour?!

I flipping hope it’s not shiny! But yes, well covered by a case - my alpha male ex-professional rugby playing OH has my old pink 7+ in a black Otterbox and no one has noticed.
