XS Max 256GB Space Grey originally 24-1 now showing as Shipped. Out for delivery with DPD tomorrow.

I’ve just came back from the Apple Store after replacing my iPhone XS Max because of its pink screen hue issue and this one is much better! It still has a bit of a yellow tint but there’s almost no colour shift so I’m happy with it!
Was painless overall and they had replacement stock set aside, but an odd thing was that I had to re-do the iUP process completely.
I also got a chance to check out the iPhone XS size and I can’t believe I was used to how small that thing is. The Max is so much better IMO!
Ditto on the redoing IUP on an exchange. Will call up Barclays tomorrow and cancel my old X IUP and check the rest is ok

Been switching between IOS and Android for the last 18 months, but definitely sticking with IOS now!
Last iPhone was the 7+ so quite a big jump. Was worried about Face ID but now so impressed with how quick and slick it is. Not really found I have to consciously look at it either to unlock.
Biggest plus for me though is the change in IOS12 that plugs password managers into apps and sites properly. This was the one thing I really liked about Android, so great to have it in IOS.
With Face ID, very slick as well.
Mine does seem to have the slightly warm/yellow tint being mentioned, but changed the display settings under Accessibility which sorted that.
P.S got mine from Argos who seem to have good stock for delivery. If you have a store card for them, 6 mths 0% as well

There’d better be!!!! Already handed my 10.5” Pro to daughter who had been waiting patiently since June cos that’s when they do new iPads!! I am using an iPad Air 2 now. It’s still awesome but yikes I notice the difference!!!Where you off to? iPad event in a few weeks

And I can use it one handed to a certain extent so I must have huge hands compared to most

Can’t justify a new iPad this year, got a 10.5” Pro last year.. I’m hoping for some AirPods and the fabled AirPower ( by some minor miracle) to materialise
I’d be a bit disappointed if it didn’t arrive tomorrow. Especially with the later dates being dispatched and arriving tomorrow.
I’ll resign myself to it not being delivered tomorrow. It’s just really frustrating seeing orders for the later cohort being delivered tomorrow.
I'm still Preparing for Dispatch as well, would love for it to be delivered tomorrow. Still showing 24 Sept - 1 Oct.
How’s it a downgrade apart from the screen? Eye strain is enough of a reason to get rid anyway

Yup, hubby was getting me the AirPower for Christmas last year!!!!!! Really want it to be a real thing asap!!
