I wasn't biting and I was all set to keep my iPhone 6S plus another year but I'm coming around to the Xr. If I wanted to buy via iPhone payments is there no way to reserve online? I presume I have to go in store and reserve it?

I think you can reserve for in store pick up and then you have do the IUP in the store. I know it has to be down in store. I think you reserve for IUP.

Some of the people on this thread are on the IUP so they know how it works better.

Yes at O2 it’s only the 256GB in coral and yellow that’s out of stock.

U.K.
The problem I come back to again and again with my iPhone is why do I actually own one. Let me explain - the first thing I do with the iPhone or my iPad is disable/remove most of Apple's suite of apps e.g. Mail, Safari, Photos, iCloud iCal etc. etc. and replace everything with Google's suite of apps instead e.g. Gmail, Chrome, Google Photos, Google Drive etc.

My reason for doing so is because I find them much better than any of the Apple apps. This begs the question why do I still use my iPhone 7 and what is the point of me continuing to own an iPhone.

I'm not bashing the iPhone, iPad or Mac as they are nice products, it's just that I don't like using their apps. I almost pulled the trigger on the new XR but then starting thinking seriously about the things I have written in this post.

Anyone else with Three and have the XS Max. I'm having signal issues with them and i'm wondering if it's my phone or their network.

Give android a go.

Few years ago I thought I’m sick of paying all this money for iPhones when I can get an android for a quarter of the price.

I spent the entire time I had it trying to set it up like my iPhone. In the end I thought why am I doing this. Went back to the iPhone.

End of the day if you don’t like it you can switch back.
