Release day onwards.Does anyone know if the Apple stores have the XR on display yet?
Maybe its coming from China.Preparing for Dispatch already, little too fast?
You can exchange it. There seems to be plenty of stock in all colours except coral and yellow.Preparing for Dispatch already, little too fast?
I think you can reserve for in store pick up and then you have do the IUP in the store. I know it has to be down in store. I think you reserve for IUP.I wasn't biting and I was all set to keep my iPhone 6S plus another year but I'm coming around to the Xr. If I wanted to buy via iPhone payments is there no way to reserve online? I presume I have to go in store and reserve it?

Some of the people on this thread are on the IUP so they know how it works better.

Yes at O2 it’s only the 256GB in coral and yellow that’s out of stock. Also posted in another thread, but all colours in all 3 configurations now out of stock on the Apple store.
Crazy!
Worth noting, that the only colour our of stock at CarPhoneWarehouse is the 64gb Yellow.

Yeah not IUP friend. I'm talking apple payments.
The problem I come back to again and again with my iPhone is why do I actually own one. Let me explain - the first thing I do with the iPhone or my iPad is disable/remove most of Apple's suite of apps e.g. Mail, Safari, Photos, iCloud iCal etc. etc. and replace everything with Google's suite of apps instead e.g. Gmail, Chrome, Google Photos, Google Drive etc.
My reason for doing so is because I find them much better than any of the Apple apps. This begs the question why do I still use my iPhone 7 and what is the point of me continuing to own an iPhone.
I'm not bashing the iPhone, iPad or Mac as they are nice products, it's just that I don't like using their apps. I almost pulled the trigger on the new XR but then starting thinking seriously about the things I have written in this post.
Ordered my Apple Watch 4 from them recently - I ordered it 3 days before launch day when the Apple store had slipped by weeks & it turned up on launch day no problems!!Anyone have any experience with Argos and launch day orders over the years?
