You just know the gold XS Plus is going to be the one that sells out in minutes.
Quick... someone create a colour poll thread to influence the logistics gurus at Apple. Surely a few of them lurk the MacRumors forums? Might aid in getting the balance right for a smoother launch :D

As someone who just didn’t get on with the size of the plus I’m still convinced that the 5.8” is the size for me... come keynote it’s usually the new shiny one that hooks me in!

Shopping list is growing. Xs, AirPower, first time AirPods (hoping there is a configuration that come with the conducive case and I don’t have to get both ) and swapping the series 3 watch for a 4

Haha can’t wait to see the videos from the hands on event post keynote, see how that gold really looks in the flesh.

My X hasn’t come out the case since I got it, only clue it’s a silver is the bottom edge that’s exposed!

Anyone been caseless with the X? How’s it fairing?

Even though I might not upgrade I am tempted to maybe use this year as a chance to get on the Apple upgrade plan as I think the Xs will be a breeze to order because people will be fighting over the plus haha

Same. Find it far too slippery without. Glad I opted for silver. Have a couple of tiny micro scratches around the Lightning port that I'll buff out when I eventually come to resell. Otherwise it's in mint condition

Honestly can’t see there being massive constraint on either model. It doesn’t seem that the TrueDepth camera modules are seeing any significant change and they’ve had plenty of time to increase yields.

I’m hoping for a smooth launch day as I sit there with my 3 devices and multiple browsers and apps trying to get into the store

*touch wood*

I’m careless and my X is holding up really well. A couple of general micro abrasions but otherwise it’s look really good.

I normally go Space Grey, but I’d be tempted with a very dark Gold this year. I’m getting a dark gold vibe from that picture.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen a gold iPhone and liked it. But I still won’t be going for it - silver is my choice this year. I’d have picked silver every year if it hadn’t had the white front plate.

Like others have said, I don’t imagine there’s going to be issues in pre-ordering the 5.8”. But the Plus size - not sure.

If it is then no thanks, I’ll stick with Space Grey. Gimme a dark gold please.

Those marketing photos are always a little misleading for me. There’ll be loads of short video reviews from the post keynote hands on which should give a more realistic view of it
