5.8" XS for me, probably in Space Grey or Silver, not interested in gold at all. One more payment on the iUP and then I'm good to go, although with the X being released on November 3rd iUP shows my annual upgrade available from 04/10/2018 - I wonder if the release date may not be 22/09/2018 as everyone is expecting?

I'm going to be very tempted to pick up an LTE Series 4 watch too - Hmmmmm!

You're killing me with this poll, man! Lowercase letters, and the iPhone 9 is missing its uppercase P!
[doublepost=1535713743][/doublepost]
The XS prices are wrong, the Plus will be starting at £999.
Source? that's a very definitive phrasing you're using.

So, whats the deal with the iUP. Reserve a new phone, backup to iCloud while in the store (filling out paperwork), take the sim card out, give them the old phone, take new phone, sign in with iCloud and walk away?

Presumably I don't need to give them back the charger / box etc?

I cannot wait till launch day just ordered another sim only on three £16 30gb with £60 quidco cashback for my new iPhone X plus or iPhone X Gen 2.(I really hope the pricing on the iPhone X plus isn't £1100 or £1200) I might have to settle with a iPhone X 5.8 for £900
Going to keep my sim free iPhone X Gen 1 for another three years only paying £15 sim only all u can eat data.

Pretty much it. Pass credit check, pay the £69 and away you go

If your ok for the 64gb then it seems as though the plus will be £999. Otherwise you’re talking north of £1100

I’d back up to iCloud BEFORE you get to the store - i.e. at home or wherever you have good WiFi.

I will get the Xs if it’s around 50 p/m on the upgrade plan, which is feasible if it’s going to be 100 quid cheaper

Hi folks ,
Hope you’re all well , quick question, I have a x 256GB silver purchased from Apple on launch day, screen protector and case on from day one , still got original Box etc , what should I be looking to get for it as I’m thinking of the 6.5 in gold.

Based on the rumours it seems likely preorders will be on Friday 14th September with availability on 21st September. I'm on the IUP, but will be out of the country for the long weekend of the launch, not back until the Tuesday. Can anyone remember from last year whether it was possible, on preorder day, to book an IUP appointment for _after_ launch day? Or am I going to be stuck waiting perhaps several weeks after launch for stock to become available? :(
You can choose another day, that’s what I did last year. You could choose any day up to a week after launch day.

Under £700 trade in I’m afraid.
If you’re willing to risk eBay then £750-800 possibly ? Bearing in mind you can knock around 14% in eBay / Paypal fees off that.

Quick question on thread etiquette... I know this is technically the Phone thread but for those just ordering an Apple Watch (and maybe AirPower/AirPod Case), can we chime in here or do we need our own thread? I'd rather stay here tbh surrounded by all the hype :D

Yeah but only if it’s £999. If it starts from £1200 then either the contracts will cost more, or the phone will cost more on upfront costs.
I first remember the iPhone X came out last year three uk was offering all u can eat everything £117.
O2 was around £90 with 50gb data package first launched
Now O2 new plans are showing iPhone X with lowest plan 1gb data limit £63 for 24 month contract with £30 upfront.

This is the main reason I purchase all my devices outright.
Me only paying £15 for all u can eat data sim with unlimited minutes and text on my iPhone X.

My new iphone X plus or iPhone X Gen 2 purchasing that sim free to be honest. I just joined another sim only contract on three uk for £16 with 30gb unlimited text and minutes with unlimited binge with £60 quidco cashback taking my 12 month sim contract to £132. Bargain to be honest.

Just moved back to 3 on a similar deal myself. Unfortunately my 12 month BT sim only deal came to an end. Don't think I'll be able to beat that ever again, but worth shopping around every year. Managed to blag a £100 amazon gift card and £70 cashback through TCB (their error). Contract cost £16 per month for 12 GB. Net effect was £22 for the year or £1.83 a month!

What size is everyone going for?
I'm "Pushed" towards the 256 since it looks like 128GB (Which should be base imo) isn't returning anytime soon.
Got a 128GB 7 atm, was using about 70GB. Trying out Optimise Photo storage atm, never been a fan as I prefer everything stored locally and backed up in the cloud but I thought I'd switch on and see how much I can say.

Deleted some apps and I'm at about 52GB. A lot of my storage is saved music on Spotify - Although may switch to Apple Music since on Three it doesn't use your data, but I'll still likely download music to my phone.

Had I not downloaded music I'd probably get away with 64GB but I dont wanna get it then find 6 months down the line Im deleting things to make storage but 256 is overkill for me.

Just hope the iPhone XS price is decent especially for the 256GB model.

Are 3 still in business - didn’t even know they were still around!:D

I’m on a similar sim only deal with EE - £16.99 a month for 10GB Data (I don’t even use half that!) with unlimited texts and calls.

Let be honest I was about to wait till November to sign for another sim only deal I cannot see 3 keeping this £16 30gb deal any longer with all the perks they give away with this plan.
The best thing about these unlimited binge you can tether unlimited with netflix without using any data allowance.

Going for the base storage model. Currently have the iPhone X 64GB and still have about 38GB free!

Wonder If Very (Ugh) will be doing their Credit deal option for 10/20% off first order on BNPL

Closed my account with them last year but might sign up again If they do it, would love to pay as little for the XS as I can lol.
