No-one here considered BT? I'm on SIMO and get 30GB Data, Unlimited Calls, Unlimited Texts for £20. Because I have BT Plus I also get Extra Speed 4G and Double Data (so actually get 60GB). They run on the EE network (after all they do own them now) and the network supports Wifi Calling and VoLTE. The only thing that you don't get at the moment is Visual Voicemail.
I been on BT almost 2 years now since I had to jump ship from a EE preorder on a JB 7+ after EE failed deliveries.
If I didn’t have a series 3 cellular watch I probably stay on BT

They can get a manager to add it on to existing order but I suppose it’s how helpful the agent is when ringing. My phone had blocked the ee online security text message pin to confirm my order, so I had to ring but they got a manager to add it on for me .

Not what I’ve just been told: (this is via email)

That code is only valid to be redeemed via our click to chat team on our website.

I have typed it into our code redeem system and double checked with my manager that this is the case it wont allow me.

They can cancel your order and re-process it for you with the added 20% discount.

I was upgrading from my existing plan by logging into my account online and choosing the upgrade option. It let me apply the code and get the discount.

Right, although I was going to try to get on to iUP by doing the return dance at an Apple store, I’m now thinking... what’s the point?

Come next year when I upgrade, I’ll either have to take time off work to go in on a Friday (and have lightning fast fingers to make a reservation on time) or wait until at least the Monday after launch day before reservations open up again, and if it’s a popular model that could be difficult.

You’d think iUP customers would be at the forefront of Apple’s minds, but this whole business’s you have to go through to get a store reservation is annoying and detracts from the launch day hype feel.

Have I misunderstood anything or is this the sad reality of iUP?

I ordered from Carphone Warehouse a new contract from Vodafone. I only got an mail with confirmation of an order, and later with congratulations that order was accepted.

I just ordered iPhone XS Silicone Case - Stone from Apple Store, thanks to everyone for help! :)

Nice. Was the email confirmation from carphone warehouse or Vodafone?

after having an 8 plus for a few months i wish i'd stuck with the normal size factor - or waited

the xs looks amazing next to the 8 plus :(

it's big , bulky and the landscape mode is very underwhelming ( the 8 plus not the xs )

My advice is haggle people there are deals to be had the new phones are not selling out. I got a cracking deal with EE today on the XS a lot better than what I was first offered. Be realistic, quote a good price you have seen online etc and ask if they can beat it. The phones are great I just think people are not upgrading/cost cutting/worried about brexit/or waiting to see what the XR is like next month.

I wish you could apply online. Almost reserve the phone at pre order then do the application later that day online!

I have to try and leave work a bit early Friday now for an appointment at Apple..

I’m currently on an EE max 30GB sim only plan (had for a while) for about £15pm.... and so buy the handset direct from Apple. Dividing the £1249 over 24 months to match the EE contract means a total monthly cost of £67.

Anyone managed to get a similar plan with handset (256GB XS Max) for less than £67pm with little on no deposit?? If not then I guess is no point me calling them!!

I’m pretty sure IUP uses see different stock allocation when upgrading. Last year a chap who was in IUP was able to see different stock and make appointments for stock that the rest of us doing the 6am shuffle saw

I never thought I'd be posting in this side of the forums again, at least not for a long time! After a year away from iPhone, felt like trying out the XS Max. Placed an order with Apple for the 256gb gold.

Too late to cancel but just placed another order for the same with Very. New account got me 10% off which is a pretty decent saving. Should get it next Saturday.

I did ring first to check but customer service staff aren't always the most knowledgeable. Anyone here buy an iPhone from them before and can confirm they're fully unlocked to swap sims as I like?
