I don't want to spam the topic, but I literally can't wait for this phone to arrive.

As I said before, I ordered RavPower wireless charger for just 7.50 pounds (the deal is over, now is 8.99), the official Apple Silicone Case in Stone color for 45 pounds and of course the iPhone XS 256 GB Gold.

Why it has to be 5 days? Why it can't arrive tomorrow? :(

Where did you get the wireless charger from?

Seems EE is popular!

I’ve always excluded them as I live in a bit of a black spot for EE reception - only O2 gets through here, so I’ve always gone with them, or more recently Tesco mobile.
And I can keep a fairly cheap SIM only contract.. At work I get WiFi data and obviously do at home too, so data allowance of 4gb or so easily suits me.

My boyfriend only been with EE For 12 months he give us a second line for £12. lol
Gonna try and ring them. I still have 3 weeks left on a BT contract off my 7+ so will use that for now.
I took out a 2 year contract with EE about 6 months ago on a S8 for my Son so will see what they offer
Failing that I will use my 20% employee discount

Hmm my aunt lives in England and she says that EE is the best network in the UK (best coverage) but it is also the most expensive one.

I never thought I'd be posting in this side of the forums again, at least not for a long time! After a year away from iPhone, felt like trying out the XS Max. Placed an order with Apple for the 256gb gold.

Too late to cancel but just placed another order for the same with Very. New account got me 10% off which is a pretty decent saving. Should get it next Saturday.

I did ring first to check but customer service staff aren't always the most knowledgeable. Anyone here buy an iPhone from them before and can confirm they're fully unlocked to swap sims as I like?
How did you get delivery Saturday as website says Tuesday?

I been on BT almost 2 years now since I had to jump ship from a EE preorder on a JB 7+ after EE failed deliveries.
If I didn’t have a series 3 cellular watch I probably stay on BT

Yes, no Apple Watch/Esim support is a deal breaker. I am with BT for my broadband and it would suit me...

Happens every year - We even have our own Patron Saint. He's called Francis.

Praise to be Francis....

EE Prices has gone more competitive used to be like 1gb for £18.
I was on three uk unlimited data plan for £15.
I cancelled that contract this weekend it's was slow what the point having unlimited data on mobile they offer you slow speeds in return and customer service omg took me 1 hour for a PAC code they keep on asking why are leaving us like 20 times.
Three isn't the network used to be EE speeds is like night and day compare to three 4g network.

EE have the best network in the UK by far, especially in London.

I was with Three for 12 months, and their speeds are crappy, and their customer service is non existent. Also, their roaming is heavily throttled outside EU.

When my mom was giving me a new phone number 2 years ago, we went to EE and 3 and EE had much worse offers than 3. TBH 3 is not bad in the area I live (Scotland), but the price differences were big. It was in 2016.

Now I chose Vodafone, is it good? I should ask before I made my order, hahaha.

BT is pretty good now uses the EE network and has wi-fi calling etc and normally cheaper than EE or was when I took out a 7+ contract
Mom has now BT sim-only for 5 pounds as an add-on to my broadband :D . It is her most reliable number. She always had O2 or Tesco, which are piece of crap.

No.

And the bad thing is, Barclay's perform a new credit check, close the previous account and open a new account every time you upgrade via IUP which means a closed credit agreement on your file from 6 years of account closure for each annual upgrade.

I always buy outright and offset the payment with what I get from last years iPhone. AC+ also. Getting back £107 this year for AC+ so only paying £92 for it this year. Hard to buy your first iPhone but after that it's a lot easier.

Says the same for me. But when I went through the order process, it says delivers by Saturday. Rang to confirm this as well. I hope it’s accurate, otherwise nobody will be home to take delivery during the week.

I have to agree working in Manchester and London three uk was terrible.
I have atleast two drop calls eachday was very annoying many times it was so congested my googlemaps didn't even load up.
tried EE on payandgo no more drop calls or slow speed.

Three is overselling the services for cheap prices to gain market share.

I ordered just after 8am on pre-order day for the Xs Max 64GB Silver and got a delivery date of 24/09, but I chose Collect+, so maybe this would have something do do with me not having a saturday date? I was going to cancel my order and change to home delivery as they wouldn't change it on the live chat only to find the Xs Max 64GB Silver has been removed from the site, but all other configurations are still there.

Very true
I got speeds of 0.1mbs in London with three this week amazing experience I had I will never forget.

I’m really not sure. I didn’t get the option of collect+ which I would have preferred. Although if that would have delayed it, home delivery is fine.

How are you guys getting such great deals on EE sim only packs - are you calling retentions and threatening to leave?!!! Wondering if I can get my £16.99 a month (10Gb Data, Unlimted Calls & Texts) any cheaper......
[doublepost=1537122942][/doublepost]

I’m not convinced by all these wireless chargers......

I bought a Belkin one at Christmas but using it on my iPhone 8 Plus was really slow - it would literally take all night (overnight actually) to charge it back to 100% whereas using a wired charger would charge it in less than an hour.

Just so you know , Apple Watch data tariff with EE is free for the first 6 months then £5 thereafter or less. EE’s freebies are limitless, this was a standard offer when I connected my S3 last Dec.

So basically you ‘ve 6 months to assess & decide if you want to retain the data service.

What was the ratting on the charger? Also was that through a case or naked?
