Hi Guys,
Anyone having issues with apple declining the payment?
I have tried a number of cards (all cards are valid and with funds)

To everyone having Issues with Apple Pay transactions - I have had this for last couple of years with launch day orders.

To resolve you need to call Apple Store and get them to process card details over phone. They need to remove the Apple payment method from the order and then reapply the card details.

Trying to pay with different cards won’t make any difference (unless issue is that bank have blocked - but sounds like you have ruled that out already).

The original order and delivery time should all be absolutely fine.

Is it not the banks declining the transaction rather than Apple? Spoken to your bank? Probably just need them to authorise and release the transaction for you to try again

Apparently the X gets some photo upgrades with iOS 12.

Ooh will be looking out for that next week.

Just tried to upgrade my EE sim only contract using code as suggested and I select sim then get stupid page can't be found.

To be fair, these codes aren’t really meant to be used by everyone, but they never seem to check for proof.

Is it not the banks declining the transaction rather than Apple? Spoken to your bank? Probably just need them to authorise and release the transaction for you to try again

Mine have just popped up under pending payments so should be good to go

What was the ratting on the charger? Also was that through a case or naked?

I just ordered the rawpower one recommended above somewhere and the Anker standing one as I rate there products. Might have one at home and one for the office. Not decided yet.

Should do. The Xs max is the same size as the pluses.

I’ve got a very similar sleeve from my 7+ (Knomo) and hoping the same thing, though looking at the added depth of the XS max I’m wondering if it will...

The max is 77.4mm wide and 7.7mm deep, for an end cross section of 596 sq mm. The 7 plus is 77.9mm wide, but only 7.3mm deep, so a cross section of only 569sqmm. So the max has just shy of 5% bigger cross section to fit in the case. I guess it might be tight to start with, but hoping the leather will give a little after a few days.

Oh they keep telling me I get 10% off a second line, but told me £20pm was the best they could do for the 40GB sim only 12month plan

I thought it was a good deal at the time

I got a EE sim last month been with them for 11 months. Contract due to expire.
The deal they given me is 40gb £13 12 months contract phoned up couple of times eachday depends what agent you get over phone.
Prepare to haggle too.
BTW I don't even have a second line this is my only first EE contract.

Had my first 2 cases arrive today for my upcoming Xs max, (ended up with about 15 for my x :-D).

Both ESR from Amazon. One’s a simple clear TPU, but with chrome/sliver edges, but it’s the other that interests me more. A rubber and aluminium bumper! I’ll need to find a protector for the back though.

Also have the Tozo ultra thin on order (had one for the X and used it a fair bit).

I just checked the rating of mine and it was only 5V Output so I guess that’s why it charged so slowly!!

I use a 5w to charge my 8+ overnight, next to the bed.

Ha! I was the same. Managed to sell 6 on eBay to same buyer yesterday for £100. 2 Apple cases, a Twelve South and more. Always say I’m not going to buy as many but already bought 2 and have 2 more in order for the new Xs max! All part of the fun I guess.

Was this on an essential or max plan? Max plan being fastest data service and included roaming in additional countries (USA etc).

It looks like it’ll fit. Here’s a pic against a Xs max case I have already. Looks the same size to me.

Yep, that’s the one. I quite liked it on the X as it’s so thin, there’s hardly any difference in size to the bare phone. Only problem is it’s not a nice smooth finish like the phone itself, or something like TPU. It’s by no means has sharp edges, or is rough, but just not quite such a nice finish in my opinion.

EE have stopped selling the Max plans on SIM only, I am on one and wanted to move my wife to one... but they stopped them for SIM only at the beginning of the year from what I can make out

I like those plastic ultra thin cases but they seem to get dust caught and scratch the side of the phone (mainly in the corners on my 7 Plus.

Not sure how the X or XS/XS Max will hold up with the glass back and stainless steel sides though.

Anyone use one on the X?
