You may need a PC to reflash those cards.

Are you saying they still work in WIndows? If they still work in Windows there may be hope. You may just need to fix permissions or delete kext files.

So the cards works fine in my other pc computer (xp).
I think too the problem is the kext files, so i had try to delete the files in path finder but some how i can´t delete the kext files.
I had permissions to access on my macbook pro to mac pro files in path finder.
I secure trash the files and put the password put i doesnt but the files in trashcan??

I have not flash any cards, i have only install http://forum.hardmac.com/index.php?showtopic=6384 this files.

I cant not see nothing in mac pro but i can see my files in macbook pro whit network access.

Sorry mate but i've got bad news, I couldn't recreate the working state on OS X with injectors only, it's amazing that it worked once.
This card is still working well on PC.
So last chance could be the new flash.app from Cindori, xfingers.

If it isn't there twice in ROM let someone like myself or another regular do a ROM for you. We can't always make it work, but I can give you a 100% guarantee that if "mcuc" isn't in the ROM twice, it WON'T WORK and will likely need a PC to avoid an RMA situation. I am happy to write ROMs for the community when have time.

Can you please help to peloche and me modifying or writing a new rom?

Hi mate, hold on, not flashed but working with rom customized injectors.
i've replaced existing rom within ATY,bin_image with mine, it's not perfect but it shows that there is still hope for EFIRom, btw are you from down under ?

Yeap no problem but it's at your own risks , before you need to tell me what memory manufacturer is installed on your New Edition, since they produce 2 versions of New Edition in regard to the memory and the Rom is different.
So you have to remove the 4 screws fixing the cooler and you'll see the memories chipsets with the name on it, depending of the result you'll be able to test or not my modified Natit.
In case you won't have the same memory as mine, we'll have to produce your natit .

Tomorrow i have the HD-489X-ZSFL to test let see if it´s works fine.

OK Cindori, what happened to the picture of the app in the doc you posted just a few seconds ago?

My XFX 512MB 4870 arrives today. Rather than try any of the existing ROMS, I'm going to have a go at creating my own custom ROM. (If I can't quite get it, I'm hopeful that someone will take pity on me and help me out with a custom ROM.)

Your original message indicated availability of your new app by the end of the week. Maybe I'll be one of the first to test it?

But all instructions here under are for 10.6.1, Mac Pro and Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 New Edition equipped with Qimonda memories chipsets.

What you'll have to do:

1 - download kexthelper

here

2 - download QE_Ci_Exotic_cards_10.6.1.pkg

3 - Unzip attached archive.zip and you'll have 2 files ATY.Init.kext and Natit.kext

4 - Click twice on kext helper,

5 - Drag and drop the two files (ATY.Init.kext and Natit.kext) in kext helper window

6 - enter your administrator password and hit return.

7 - Double click on QE_Ci_Exotic_cards_10.6.1.pkg and follow instructions

8 - Reboot, no, no, Xfingers and reboot

9 - Good luck at reboot

Slot 1 (first from bottom) for ATI and 3 for nVidia
