Do you have an M1 Mac?
Not yet! I wanna buy, but I’ve got no chance to test them. These apps are crucial to work remotely. So, it would be great if some owners may share their experience with these apps!

I remember buying a couple of bundles some years ago. Are these still a thing? Google kinda says meh when I ask it. Any chance there will be an M1 bundle?

U-he plugins that work but not native yet
diva
colour copy
repro5 have not tested repro1
zebra2 and dark zebra

bazille ran then ended up crashing logic
satin also seemed to cause issues

but whats crazy is you can load up the plugins with multicore and highest quality no issues at all multiple tracks with no latencies or dropouts. And they are running via emulation wrapper.

Want to avoid running any apps through Rosetta. Does anyone have any native M1 video player?

You can use Handbrake to convert videos to the desired format and then play them using Quicktime. We would have to wait for ffmpeg to be released with native Apple Silicon support. Hence, wait for VLC or iina (mpv) universal binary.

i highly doubt that people will be able to use an external drive with either windows or Linux with a Mac m1

The paragon driver isn't used for running Windows or Linux off an external drive, it's so that Mac OS can read and write to an NTFS-formatted drive. Most external drives are formatted for either NTFS (Windows) or HFS/APFS (Mac), which means you can't simply unplug the drive from one OS and switch it to the other and expect it to work. The WD EasyStore series does use ExFAT, which both Windows and Mac based systems can read and write to. That's what I use for my iTunes library, since I only have to keep one set of media updated instead of sychronizing across multiple libraries.

Apache NetBeans 12.2 is native for Apple Silicon as of today. Just installed it for testing and it shows up as Apple architecture in Activity Monitor. Azul also has an M1-ready version of OpenJDK available for download.

Slack Universal beta isn’t available at the link provided in the wiki post. The latest available version is from November 4th.

Seems like I can't install Soundflower. Does anyone have a workaround, or a free or inexpensive alternative to that one? Screenium just looks ... kinda cheap? Looking for a screen recorder with system audio.
