and still no ARM build...

This is absurd at this point, what excuse does Microsoft have for not having their entire product suite being ARM native yet? there are apps being made by a team of 5 people that are already ARM native... Do they have like 1 person working on the mac build? I would honestly like to see how many companies left MS for slack because of this.... I mean especially with everyone working from home...
Not an employee... more likely an intern!

Origin because of the sims,
skype, because I use that to talk with family overseas who do not have smartphones

Tidal is the one I would really like to see transition. Any news about it? I couldn't find much information from Googling. I'm fairly new to Tidal so I haven't been following any potential progress.

It's very disappointing. The app is slow and stutters on macOS while it runs very smoothly and quickly on Windows 11. I really hope a native version is released.

I just got an update for the Logi Options+ Beta software which is Apple Silicon Native now!

The release notes aren't on the website yet but I am sure this will say enough:

I am very thrilled with the update as Logitech took a long time to get this patched.

I got the release notes from the app now:

Solved: delete app, reboot Mac, reinstall app and all ok now.

Thanks! That is great news, I was about to swap my Logitech MX Master 3 and MX keys keyboard.

Nice, but I'm unclear what all Logi options does. I'm hoping LogiTune for the 4k/Brio cameras goes native soon.

After that, Teams will be the sole remaining non-native

@southerndoc For me it's the only piece of software in which I can manage my MX Master 3 properly.
I have tried several third party options like Mouse Overdrive and such but none of them are as good as Logitechs own software. So the fact that it's Apple Silicon native now is a big plus.

And yeah, I am also waiting a long time on the native version of Teams. It is a hog. Not sure though if making it native will resolve the slugginess of the app.

Is the beta M1 native version of Logi options safe to use?

With the current version, I notice sometimes that the scroll wheel is not working with the MX Master 3. So then i have to reconnect it to fix it.

@UBS28 Yeah, that's the reason I've installed the beta releases.
With the stable releases my MX Master randomly lost its functionality and stuff like scrolling and the extra buttons didn't work anymore.

After installing the beta releases (Options+) these bugs don't exist anymore.

Many thanks, I will install the beta version also then.

Some good news here, Calendars by Readdle is coming to Mac, they are looking for beta testers. I would only assume it's M1 ready. Screenshot 2022-02-23 at 09.38.29.png

This is by far the most infuriating outstanding app for me. Most of my apps are Universal. This one is an exception.

Same for me the only apps that are not universal for me today is;

• teams
• onedrive
• horizon client
Recently, I did a reinstall of MacOS, and literally left OneDrive out on purpose until it's Native. When I need to open a spreadsheet or smith, I just go to online version. MS is really doing a number on this ....

Oh jeez... I was just evaluation some cloud storage options since I saw 365 personal for only $40 a year, but this might rule it out.

I guess I could access the storage with cloudmounter or cyberduck instead though.

When Monterey initially launched and you could use iMazing to side load iOS/iPadOS apps to the Mac, there was a number of apps (like Channels, for watching TV) that just worked great. Carrot even worked great, as a widget. But then it stopped working. I can understand why OneDrive would need to be ‘optimized’, but the iPadOS version of Teams would be GREAT on macOS.

Now that OneDrive is AS-native (well, App Store should have it available within a week), just have Teams, SynologyDrive client, and Citrix Workspace to go and I'll be all set.

EDIT: Forgot about LogiTune and RealVNC client/server.
