@UBS28 Yeah, that's the reason I've installed the beta releases.
With the stable releases my MX Master randomly lost its functionality and stuff like scrolling and the extra buttons didn't work anymore.

After installing the beta releases (Options+) these bugs don't exist anymore.
I've installed the beta, but I can't get my MX Keys to show up in the LogiOptions+ app at all.

Same for me the only apps that are not universal for me today is;

• teams
• onedrive
• horizon client
To be fair to the Microsoft team working on Teams, they are probably forced to use Teams to collaborate! So that’s one handicap they have to overcome! ?

This is so true, The only reason I use Teams is because of my employer demands it.
I do prefer slack but you can't get it all :)

One drive preview has been native for a couple months now and is now available in the stable channel. Working great for me.

Teams will never be good, even with M1 support. They gotta get off Electron to be a good app.

I'm waiting for the App Store version.
The Preview was never a solution for me in production.

There's a couple of news for Microsoft Teams, it does seem like they are working on a M1 native client.

However the latest update from a day ago does make it seem they'll still use Electron 10 as a base for it.

The thing is.. I'm not sure if they are releasing an update to the already established app on Electron with Electron 10 as a base and then move over to an updated App using webview2.

Nevertheless it's current usage is absolute crap.

Hope this is coming soon, it is so bad on my Mac, I even get lags with animation, I had switched to PWA with Chrome. Though, the PWA version and the app version is definitely not the same.

I am not sure if they will release it with Webview2 or Electron, but given Webview2 itself is not even available on Mac just yet, it will be a long wait until it's released.

Update: It looks like Webview2 won't be available until Oct 2022 https://github.com/MicrosoftEdge/WebView2Feedback/issues/1314

Nice find, so if they actually do update MS Teams it's going to be on Electron 10. Well Discord is fine atm so I assume they might mitigate most of the issues for now.

Man MS Teams has got to happen eventually this performance is just terrible across the board, was doing some heavy lifting work in multiple servers at the same time while running MS Teams on a call and consuming 3GB…. The wordenou it is the UI input lag in it

I wonder if it requires a reinstallation (like delete it, but reinstall the app store version instead of standalone version)?

Don't know, don't know how to uninstall it completely either. Just drag it to the trash?
How did you do?

Edit:
I did find this on there release notes after some Googling:
  • General availability for OneDrive sync for Apple silicon devices. Users will be automatically updated over the next few releases.

Makes sense that they do it gradually to ensure a ton of people don't lose access to OneDrive. Will be patient until the next update or so to see if it switches. Really looking forward to it being AS-native.
