I haven't gotten an email advising to buy mountain lion and have now been waiting 9 hours. Granted, it's not as long as others, but it's thursday afternoon. I waited up past midnight, hoping I'd be able to get in early and but it wasn't out when I went to sleep around 2am, and by the time I was up at 7am people had already been waiting for some time.
I get that there would be a queue, but I'd really like a code before the day ends. In fact, even before the weekend would be okay. I really don't want to get my code 24 hours from now and have to head into uni or work to use the internet on a friday afternoon.

been waiting for 13+ Hours and still waiting.
called apple care 2 time, at both times they resent the e-mail, and saying i should receive it in 10 to 30 minutes, and i ain't got jack. *sigh* Apple.... got my first macbook pro and now you have disappointed me. Keep on waiting.....
I submitted for 2 computers same time,only got one . I don't know how they are doing it.
thats really crap and I am really mad at them, thats so ridicules, Apple is the most valuable company in the world and doesn't even get it that we, the customers of the newest devices, don't want do be the last crowd... I always thought there won't will be a prob with ML and the free upgrade but even Apple is to stupid for that thing, maybe its hard to send them but maybe its not but the fact is apple isn't that bad in organizing and currently I am pretty **** mood so hopefully they fix it very soon without to take a call or going to the apple store again.
Update 2: Finally received the password email one hour after the pdf with the new code and this code works. Download started. I was one of the early ones today, probably within 10 minutes after they opened up the mac up-to-date site. I hope everyone else's will come quickly now.
Does anyone think there could be a problem if you used an email that is not the one you use for your apple ID. Maybe apple knows which apple ID should be paired with each serial and if what you submit doesn't match you have problems.
I have considered that. I know I didn't submit with my apple id because I rarely use that email address. I even considered that the email may be sent to the apple id, even if that wasn't entered (ie, to confirm it is the person who purchased using the serial). I haven't gotten an email on that one either.

Someone should be fired for this kind of delay and bottleneck in uptodate program. I'm a programmer and if i would create such "chaos" when you expect people to go all out on your "web form" you can prepare for this peak because form has nothing to do with the deliver over app store so you could test/develop it months before over simulations etc.
I am waiting 17 hours already for redeem code to arrive for my MBA which is really sad. I have entered uptodate program over UK apple store page right after it started working.
Why its not automatic? Because probably some new macs got stolen during transport or from customers so that they can find them over serial if they request new ML. Still they could resolve this programmatically with few more lines of code.Sucks.. Been over 12 hrs.. submitted 3 times with proof requested everytime!!

I got my code 5 minutes after submitting the claim. Went through to redeem my code and it says its already been used!
So a phone call to the apple support says its a known problem and they know the codes effected and will be sending me a new one within 24 hours! Sucks!

Also waiting on my code... I "ordered" mine when it just came online.. Called Apple two times where they are saying something like this "I can see you have order has been completed, so i can understand why its not there for you.. But i can send it one more time?" So when the clock turns 14.50 i'm gonna call them for sure and then they are going to give me it!
