Called Malaysian AppleCare and the 'Genius' talked to me about 25 minutes (wtf), asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions and kept on asking if I've tried the code on another computer. I told him over and over again this is my new Mac, and it's sorta like a common issue since ML was released, people have been getting the code used error, and he kept on asking ****ty useless questions.
In the end he said okay they will send me a new code, and he said he pressed 'send' and asked me to check my email inbox. No luck, nothing inside. So I told the Genius nope nothing inside, but he insisted I check again after a while because maybe the server clogged up, so I did, and now after 4 hours, still nothing. Funny thing is, the AppleCare Express Lane sent me an email right after my call ended, with my case number and everything, and I went to apple's website to check my case status and it was marked as "case closed". Award winning support huh?
