I submitted my request around 9 AM yesterday and finally received the code 34 hours later and it works, fortunately it is not the server version.

I'm at 33.5 hours now, and haven't gotten anything. Hopefully that news of getting them all out tonight is true (although part of me wishes I had gotten a free server code too :)

Yeah! I am up to 36 hours!

In the same boat. 36 hours. My request had two serials -- both 2012 MBAs. Hope that didn't confuse them! ;)

I just tried calling Apple Care. Waited for a rep for 20 mins, finally rang and went to a voicemail box that was full & the call disconnected. Called back & got the "extremely high call volume" message. Bleh.

At this point it's better to shell out 20 bucks and try for a refund later.

I submitted my request around 33 hours ago. For fun I decided to resubmit it and it took the serial number. Then the next time I tried it said that it was already used. Do you think that somehow my request got lost and I've been waiting this long for nothing?:(

Finally

It's been 36 hours like the rest of you guys and I've been following this thread but hadn't bothered commenting on it. It's 2.49am UK time (don't ask why I'm still up at this ungodly hour, I had come back from California a week ago and my body clock is still screwed) and I've been checking my emails frequently. I look at my Hotmail and what do you know? I get two emails from Apple at the same time!

One has the code, and a separate email tells you instructions on how to download.

Bear that in mind!

Hope you guys in the USA get yours soon! I know the wait is awful, I was nearly dying in the last couple hours :(

36 hours later....an email from Apple! but no, it was ads saying the likes of 'get os x mountain lion, our best ever!'.....wtf..

just gimme my friggin code and i'm on it!

(sorry if this sounds angry...just a tad frustrating)

I just got that email. I wish someone recorded my face. I'm in gmail, and on the left I see Apple, and a huge smile forms. Slowly I move over to the right and I see the subject: "Get OS X Mountain Lion." I just kind of sat in sadness and anger for a few minutes before I got back to work.

Is it so hard for Apple engineers to write a little program that compares the serial numbers and the apple IDs uploaded with the form to the serials and IDs linked to an apple store order?
You could do it with filemaker pro in a couple of hours!
I mean it's okay they want the apple id to be extra sure people are not guessing serial numbers for the new mac models, but a claimed 72hrs wait is just unaccettable.
Over 2300$ for my new MBP and still waiting. Because Apple is afraid to loose 20$: That's a really bad ad for Apple.

It is getting to the point where I am re-reading my spam...I've got 37 emails telling me how to get a bigger penis, 4 emails from some African dictator wife's accountant, 29 emails informing me that Barack Obama was born in Kenya, but not one freaking email on how to get Mountain Lion....:(

Preacher is joining the flock

I posted yesterday about people being patient but this is slightly ridiculous as its been over 36 hours for me and some are getting it right away.

Its not so much the waiting as it is the not knowing if everything was processed.:(

That is what I'm worried about also, I really wish they would have sent confirmation emails.

Checked my old hotmail (itunes account email) and I have a new email from apple... checking that I meant to change my name. YES I DID!

I've been waiting 29 hours, so not as long as others, but I really hope that I get a code before tonight.

People are saying all the codes are meant to come out 'overnight', so I'm hoping that means I might have it in the next few hours (not that I know where the people are saying tonight are or what time it is there)

Got my code after almost 2 days, tried to redeem it, and the App Store gave me an invalid code error. Checked, double-checked, and triple checked I was entering the right code into the right place.

Not too pleased with this update system right about now.

I requested mine early yesterday, got a code almost right a way, tried it in the evening and it was bad. At that time I emailed them with all the information and received a code at 11am this morning followed by another at 1pm. I'm assuming the 11am one was for OSX Server based on what I have read, but I never tried it. The last one worked perfectly. I'm in the US and purchased online from Apple.

I got code on first day, and it worked. But today again I received new code, dont know what it is for, didnt try it yet.
Can we apply two ML codes on ONE apple id?
