It took 48 hours, but now Apple sent me two codes to Mountain Lion... not one for the OS and another for the server add on. Really two different codes for Mountain Lion itself...

Look's like I'm hooking up my parents with ML for free :p

I sent a copy of the Invoice. But I haven't yet got a reply and I submitted mine at 2pm UK time......

From the hundreds of responses here, it seems that Apple isn't really responding to many emails or inquiries. You could try calling them on their support line, vent here, or try to be patient. :)

Coming up on 48 hours for me and still nothing. I keep going back and forth between buying it and waiting... If I just buy it and tell them I was supposed to receive the free code but didn't/couldn't wait, will they reimburse me? I really don't want to lie and come up with an excuse. I just can't wait anymore.

Yet if they were doing it by when people submitted their claim I should be ahead of you in line and have received nothing.

Really wish people would read before asking questions that have been answer hundreds of times on this thread. My post from one page back:

For me i'm on 36 hours and still no code.

I thought perhaps it didn't submit so I went to submit again but it says the serial number was already used to claim the code. So I guess it's just a waiting game now.

I requested my code 7/25 at around 1730 PST. I still have not received anything.

My friend requested his code yesterday afternoon. He told me this morning it came in overnight, WTF. I might just have to fire up my old sources for "free software" just out of spite.

I've read every post on this thread, and I read yours as well. It looked like you had been "Mucked around" more than I have though. You were talking about waiting over 96 hours. I've waited 48, so I'm just wondering where does Apple draw the line and say "Hey, this guy doesn't deserve a refund"?

i'm on 42 hours and it's also officially saturday. i'm getting up in 4 hours to watch the olympics and i'm going to be quite frustrated if my email hasn't arrived. telstra has had better customer service this week, and anyone knowing anything about telstra knows how big of a deal that is!

If you had read every post on this thread then you would have seen that plenty of people bought and claimed a refund before and just after the 24hr mark.

Requested copy on July 25 11:20am EST
Received code (2 emails) on July 27 6:58am EST

So it took about 43 hours.

Called Apple support this morning. They looked up my info an said that it was approved, and that I would just have to wait to receive my code. They also said that there was a massive backlog that they were having to run through.
