If it's an automated system them it shouldn't take a break on the weekend. Hell a billion dollar company shouldn't take a break on the weekend regardless.

Submitted my claim around 8pm UK time on Wednesday evening for my new Mac Mini... not heard a peep so far...

Just tried resubmitting as folks on here reckon they've had a second claim go through quicker but "this serial number has already been claimed" so I guess it's back to waiting impatiently... I suppose at least I've confirmed that I am actually in the queue somewhere...

I submitted a claim 2 days ago, and 46 hours later, I got my email. Codes were fine, and I'm almost done downloading.

Good luck to all those still waiting.

Having a real crappy experience thus far as a new Apple customer. Waited way too long for my Macbook to ship, arrived with a half-baked OS and now up to 50 odd hours of wait time for them to even acknowledge I have sent in a code and that they are processing it. Just force re-submitted the request and shall see what happens now. Apple really doesn't give two turds about their customers it seems.

I've waited about 46 hours now. If I try to re-submit I get the already claimed message, and then when I keep hitting continue, I have to upload proof-of-purchase (even though I got it from Apple.com).

I didn't have to do proof of purchase first time around, but can anyone give any advice regarding what I should do?

I've sent my fourth application just yet. First one on 23th July and NO code, second one on 25th July, no code. Third one, 26th July, no code. Now, 28th July, no code yet (sent it 1 min ago with another e-mail). I called yesterday and they told me it could take 72h, but it has been already 96hs since my first application and nothing?

The up to date site has only been active for a little over 50 hours. Impossible to submit 96 hours ago.

50+ hours for me and still no code.

Is there a verification email that shows there was an attempt to redeem a free copy of ML?

I've filled out the form yesterday morning ~9am (7/25) and haven't gotten any response yet.

I received my code this morning at 5am.

O 23th July it activated for a while and the ones who applicated and got the code, it was invalid. I didn't even get a code and yesterday AppleCare told me my application was still 'pending'.

I just re submitted for a code by using a different email and it went through. Hopefully I get a code through soon.

I submitted mine when the program started prematurely and I STILL haven't gotten mine 3 days after the release. This is bull crap.

...

Classic case of Apple inconveniencing as many users as possible. !!

There is NO excuse for this.... I was only told the manual check by an Apple Rep......But ya,, it doesn't make sense, and all this could be clearly all automated..

Million people to go through, or not... At least it'd be faster... much faster, <24 in fact.

Update: Got mine code just now via email, and it works :)
