As of about an hour ago, I’m now seeing the north east updated. Everything from Maryland and DC up through Maine. So far, I’m only seeing it on my phone, not my iPad (both on the most recent iOS 13 public beta), so it looks like they may be slowly rolling it out.

When Texas, Louisiana, and Southern Mississippi were added, I thought "YAY! Hopefully I'll be in the next round", as I thought Northern Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia might be next.

:rolleyes:o_O:mad:o_O

Not seeing anything on my phone. I'm in NH right now. Was actually noticing the traffic data was amazingly spot-on the past couple of days throughout NH and VT. This can't get here soon enough!

Nothing for me yet, either. But I'm opening Apple Maps every nine minutes just to make sure. The Mac Blogs are all announcing its arrival to the northeast, even though this apparently isn't the official rollout yet.

I have no idea what that means, but I guess that’s good?

Well, I tried to stitch it together but couldn’t. Basically, when MacRumors news posts get comments, they do a summary page with the comments that receive the most likes. They listed maybe 10 comments that had elicited the most likes and yours were perhaps 6 or 7 of the 10.l

So...Good!

Oh...my comment on one of the front page posts about the new NE maps calling out the usual complainers. I try not to, but can’t help myself. I guess it worked out this time. Hah.

I still don't have the Northeast update.

But Google Maps for iOS came out with an update, so I drove to and from work this morning using Google Maps on Apple CarPlay. The graphics seemed a bit sharper, and the transitions a bit smoother. New for CarPlay, while navigating, there's now an option to add a waypoint along your route. While driving home, we hit worsening traffic, and Google Maps suggested a new route entirely to save five minutes. Hadn't seen it do that on CarPlay before.

Come on, Apple Maps update....come on, iOS 13....

Yes, definitely. I think Google is feeling a tiny bit of pressure. I didn't start seeing ball fields and golf course visuals on Google Maps until Apple debuted their new maps in California.

I took a brief nap when I got home from work this morning, and had a dream that I woke up and suddenly had the new maps. Except everything looked more blue instead of green. I started swiping around New York City and saw that the buildings had been updated. Then suddenly I was at work, and had Apple Maps up on my computer screen. People were asking me why, and I was explaining to them how amazing the new Apple Maps are. They were impressed.

Then I woke up, checked my phone, and still didn't have it. :(

The fact that the Northeast was released so quickly after the Texas update leads me to believe that it will get wide release quicker....not sure why....maybe I'm dreaming as well. I certainly don't want to wait the 6 weeks it took for Texas.

Same here. Gonna check for any under the hood improvements tonight as well.
