It's so weird how this works. I wonder if there's any way to "trick" my phone into connecting to a different server.

ha i was thinking of that last week and googled it but couldn't find an answer
LOL. I'm sure its not that simple. My wife still has the new Maps on her phone. Maybe removal is related to how much we yack about it here. Apple realizes its us and cuts us off!
I agree with @MozMan68 that this quite possibly indicates that we're getting closer to a release. I still think it will happen Weds/Thurs, as iOS 13 gets released.
Did anyone track how this went down for Texas/LA/MS when they got theirs? Was it this sort of on/off cadence?

Does anyone know what countries are getting the new maps? Specifically asking about the UK
Add some pictures to get clear explanation about the list.Because only an article can not give a clear picture of the maps.
I wonder if the maps updates will include actual more current maps. The Nashville map is about 2 years old, which is a lot as fast as the city is growing.
I couldn't find an answer through search so I am trying my luck here:
Will there be music controls within the new IOS Apple Maps App during navigation (like Google Maps has it for Apple Music & Spotify)?
Thanks!
This will likely not show up until the new Maps layers are deployed in the Mid South.Regarding Nashville - The new building my company moved into 2 years ago is still shown under construction on my version of Apple Maps. Maybe it was mapped, but it's not what I'm seeing. By my estimation it's about 2 1/2 years out of date at best.
So far, they've been rolled out for ALL of California and the Desert Southwest, plus Texas, Louisiana and the southern half of Mississippi.

I think he's referring to the satellite view.
I cannot speak for the rest of the country, but I think the satellite view here has only changed twice since Apple stopped using Google for the Maps app.
Not sure that can be made as a blanket statement. It's a mix between 3rd party supplied views as well as their own Flyover view. Data listing says Copyright 2013 from DigitalGlobe with portions copyrighted 2013 from Microsoft.
No one has really mentioned when that would be updated or how it will tie into the new Maps data currently being released.
Hence why I didn't make it a blanket statement. I live in a rural area that might not be updated as frequently as more urban areas for one thing.
The satellite view at my home has been updated within the last two years. Before that, it had only been updated once (maybe twice).
