So...remainder of the map launching tomorrow? Or by Tuesday??
I don't have a guess at this point, but I would hope it's this week! Justin O'Bierne thinks sometime in February though...

Regardless, I still have them on my iPad. I'm happy to see that POI information seems a LOT more accurate/with less misplaced markers than there were when other regions were released. If that is the result of a longer wait...fine by me! Hopefully they can start getting releases out faster and with the same accuracy, and if so...in my mind anyway, signals the possibility of other countries happening at a faster rate than we saw for JUST the US.

The first/anchor post is misleading as the Midwest and south are still not released. It makes it look like it was mid-December.

If you’re referring to the first post of this thread, it clearly states “pre-release” for those states. A “wide release” date will be added to each of those once the map has been updated and available to everyone.

The fact is, many people have had the unreleased areas on and off since December 18.

I’ve updated that section by turning it into a table with separate cells for the testing start date and full release date.

Just got the new maps on my phone finally.
There’s also stoplight info in at least parts of the nashville metro area.

Woo hoo! A hard reset and they just showed up on my phone. Guessing today is wide release day!!

Confirmed on my son’s phone

First glance, doesn’t look like Look Around has expanded at all.

First page updated and new table added below US states to start listing other countries as added. I've listed what I think are the first 5 that may get updated first.

Boy, stop signs/traffic lights popping up in multiple places including Chicago and Nashville as listed above and Miami as well. I guess my theory of it being tied to Look Around is wrong, and I'm glad for that!

I can report new maps in Minnesota this morning on my iPhone. No restart required. They showed up on my Mac yesterday.

Also now have the entire US covered on all devices, as well. Just checked on DuckDuckGo, and it's on there also. Looks like the release is official!

Wow! Did they release traffic lights and stop signs for the entire country? I have it in my area in western Michigan.

EDIT: I think this is the case...others please confirm if you can. That's huge!
If that's the case...I hope that means good things for the Look Around rollout! (even though they are now seeming to be unrelated to each other). And I also think we might see entire countries roll out at once instead of in sections like the US did. Granted a lot of countries aren't as big as the US, so it might actually end up being a case of maybe two or more countries coming out at the same time. I would feel pretty confident saying the main reason they broke the US into sections was to see what they could "get away with". The US was definitely a learning experience that they'll be able to apply from here on out. Each release area tended to be increasingly larger than the last. I wouldn't be surprised to see multiple countries come out at a faster rate than they had for just the US. It'll be an interesting year for sure!

Now that the US is done...I just need Look Around in the Chicago area and I'll be happy! 😂 (Assuming the coverage area doesn't stop like a mile from where I live 😂 Which would be my luck)!

Hey MozMan...I think I remember you saying you took screenshots of Look Around areas to compare as time goes on. Take a look at Houston and LA in particular. Did they both extend slightly farther north or am I just seeing things? If anything, I don't think it was a huge expansion. Just seems a little different to me. Could be wrong though!
