This is the iPhone trade in kit. I have the same thing on my tracking. It’s coming tomorrow. I think I’m not going to do the trade in through Apple. I have an iPhone X and my brother put his on eBay and it’s already at $255 and climbing. Apple is only giving $200 tops. People are even buying phones that have issues over $200. The heck with sending it in to Apple.

do even the phones that come from best buy(tmobile through best buy) come also with esim or is that only if you buy from a cell phone provider? I chatted with best buy( was interested in getting the 100 dollars off if you buy from best buy) and the guy said that their phones do NOT come with a sim card..so with esim, once I get the phone do I have to open up anything in the phone to activate it, Im really not familiar with this whole esim thing
Yes. if you find one locally and as long as it’s not preparing to ship, you can cancel the order.
I wish that I could have been a late buyer and waited for Apple to iron out iOS 15 with a the 15.1 or the 15.1.1 release. Alas, need drove me to be a begrudging early adopter.Who’s a late buyer and is waiting until October or November?
Finally got mine from UPS after much drama, misinformation and incompetence.
Trade in to Apple kit isn’t here yet. Anyone know how long we have to send in the trade in or whether we can just go drop it off to an Apple Store?

The trade in kit came 5pm Sat. via UPS. I was little shocked they came that late on Weekends.
But I already traded my old phone in Fri. night. Brief wait in line, but glad I got the money refunded back to my card.
I've seen some nightmare'ish stories of actually mailing this back, no thanks.
Yup, I heard of these stories too and I always do trade in store to get that full credit. The rep told me I can throw away the trade in box since it wasn't needed.
It's weird that the weight on your tracking is listed as 0.20 lbs whereas mine says 0.80 lbs, about the weight of a packaged Pro Max.
Cannot believe how much of a cluster this UPS delivery has been. Took a whole day off work to be there for the phone on Friday, but it didn’t even get an additional scan past the facility arrival the day before. Called UPS, they said check back the next day. Come the next day, no update, and I can’t spend time waiting around my house for no reason, so I direct it to my local UPS store. Call again, they say to check back Monday. Well, it’s Monday. And my package moved!… to Ontario, California. The package left my city. Definitely losing my patience, especially since this is the second expensive package in a row that UPS has failed to deliver. Never ever EVER going to have it delivered again, not after this.
I think it’s the theme with UPS this year: iPhone in jail and customer held hostage at home waiting.

Yep I am on the October 6-11 delivery date, but it prepared to ship on evening off 9/24 and woke up to shipped on Saturday morning all way through the process and the stuff below as been where it froze ever since. Apple has sent the AppleCare coverage, billing info and such. My return box arrives tomorrow and UPS says it still arrives today but no info about any arrival thru Anchorage, or In Louisville and now nothing at local UPS that it is on truck or arrived. I think that nothing is getting out of china with all the shipping backlog. UPS and shippers are fubar… the shipping system is fallling apart
Yeah my trade in box is coming though UPS and tracking for tomorrow , but my phone supposedly delivering today, all info (billing, applecare ect) from apple is here in emails, but its stuck at tracking leaving China nothing since, nothing in Anchorage, nothing in Louisville and nothing in my local UPS that is supposedly delivering today. I could see missing things up to Louisville (it has happened ) but not local Scans from Louisville (where customs approved) or here in my town if it were here would show up. I do not think the tracking is that snafued that these would be missing. I think it is really stuck in China as my scans since Saturday have show. What a big fubar on apple and UPS’s part
That is an understatement. My phone (a 10/6 to 10/11 date) prepared to ship on evening of 9/24, showed shipped early Saturday and apple has sent all materials (applecare, billing, loan info ect) and says arrives Friday not today which my UPS tracking shows even though not anything since at airport in China and clearing their paperwork. It is supposed to arrive today but nothing scanned after china including my local UPS I do not think it left China things are falling apart in the just in time delivery system that Apple counts on. The mess continues
Yeah well as part of the 10/6 to 10/11 group seeing same issues. It all of a sudden on evening of 9/24 showed preparing to ship, then early Saturday shipped with tracking showing it was all done ready to ship including the Chinese paperwork that occurs in the factory/airport complex. But since then NADA, tracking stuck in China, supposedly delivering today but no tracking since China. I would expect Louisville (with customs) and local UPS at least as I have seen the China through Anchorage to Louisville show later. But the Louisville to my local tracking not showing. I do. Not think it ever left China, let alone gotten here and running around their system like you are seeing. UPS has major problems if it is here in town for me today (which I doubt)
Yep same boat, same tracking completed in China but no movement shown after that. Heck my trade in box is shipping via UPS not FedEx and it has tracking all through UPS system and arrives tomorrow. If tracking is working for that why is not our phone tracking working for at least Louisville (with customs, departure, arrival) and then locally for our local UPS which should show it is here, loaded on truck, soon out for delivery. I am retired but I have things to do like pick up grandson M-W from school, meaning wife has to stay here and she is a retired but now substitute TA at local schools — not that she works regular but would have done some but has to be here while I get grandson. What good is UPS with this kind of crap it should be updated already if not here that dates have slipped and they do not know but that would look bad for them, would piss apple off let alone us.
