ATT like prior years has consistently opened orders 15 minutes early for past 3 releases that I've used them. They may have even done more but I left Apple for ATT preorder day for phones only. with the 11 Pro Max I would buy my Titanium watch from them each year but I've never seen it listed before only SS.

Anyhow im on ATT next and have used Apple always for its ease of return and tracking but found that early 15 minutes was worth the trade off IMO.
I got my 6+ orders in through AT&T when they opened 15 minutes early. Ended up getting my phones 2 weeks after launch day because they messed up and shouldn’t have let people in early….

For in store pickup for Verizon customers, if I’m listed as an account manager I should be fine right?

That was so easy! love being able to set up the preorder information - click on Applepay - hear the ding and done! ordered Pro graphite and Pro Sierra 256 - numbers, trade-ins, everything done in seconds! Email at 8:02:39 - fastest ever and have done this for years! Kind of wish we still did it in the middle of the night. Loved getting up and ready at 3AM.

I had trouble with my Apple Card too. I finally had to use another card. Thought it was just me till I came on here and saw others issues.

So aa it stands now it looks like we can’t change the card for the initial payment but we will be able to change the loan to the Apple Card? (Hopefully!) Annoyed we lost out on Apple Cash and annoyed I’ll have to go through the trouble of changing the loan card.
Yes you can change it on the (terrible) citizens one loan site later. I did that when I got my Apple Card after I joined iUp

Here is my plan. I pre-ordered the graphite pro max 256 for in store pickup. When I go, I will check out the Sierra blue, and see if they happen to have any "store stock". If I REALLY like the blue, then I will do an exchange right there.
I feel like you have a better chance of Tim Cook handing you your new iPhone than a new pro colorway being in stock on launch day.

Wow..8:20am ET, the delivery time to house is now "Oct 6 - Oct 11"
(In store still states 9/24)

I honestly didn't expect the delivery time to drop this fast.
Well I got in at 5 minutes past hour, it said 9/24 after I clicked complete the order. But as usual (do not have Apple Card they would not qualify me even with good credit history I guess I do not make enough on pension LOL) I had to enter card info but it was out and I was ready this year. Took me less than minute to do that and click and order was completed, email came fast. But in that short window say 6 past hour I am guessing it had already slipped to October 6-11 for my 13 ProMax 1TB Graphite. I had hoped that not too many 1TB would jump with many going 256-512GB but I guess maybe they did not make many 1TB (oh mine is a AT&T model). So it was already slipping 15 minutes before your time. Interesting it says 9/24 maybe for some models or was it for your model it staid that? Maybe that info was already wrong with real date once your order was completed?

So first time doing an in store pickup, when do you normally get charged? I feel I would get charged as soon as I placed the order if I was getting it delivered.

I applied a gift card at checkout but am not seeing it listed in my confirmation email. Will that be an issue or should i just bring the gift card to the store when I pick up to be safe?

Anyone upgrading using the iPhone Upgrade program and seeing an Early Upgrade Payment? I thought I could get upgrades whenever new iPhones come out. I went from a 12 Pro Max to a 13 Pro Max.
It’s because the phones released later last year so we haven’t made our 12 payments yet to make us upgrade eligible. I imagine most people had to do it.

Am I able to change the address after I placed the order? I made a mistake and won’t be home during the day because of work.

Too everyone who said they had trouble trying to use the  card with IUP, well yeah it’s because you can’t use that as a payment for IUP!!

It’s because they offer the 24 months financing with the  card so it’s a conflict of interest with IUP because that program goes through Citizens One.
That's...not true at all. I've been using my Apple Card for iUP for a year. Also, it's ultimately just a Mastercard; there's zero reason why you'd not be able to use it anyway.

It’s because 12 Pro Max released later in the year, and you need to have made 12 payments to updgrade. So this time we were earlier and needed to still make a 12th payment to get it.

Wrong! I have used my Apple Card for IUP for years...

In the end, most of us uses cases and you can't even see the color :)

Had horrible problems with Apple's website this morning. Was ready 5 mins before launch but even after 10 minutes I was getting the "just a sec" message on Apple Store. Restarted phone then got through but was hit with "502 Bad Gateway" multiple times.
Hopped on the computer only for the same thing to happen. Finally went to my email and tried to access the phone that way. After a few tries it went through around 7:20 my time (17 minutes after launch)
Confirmation page wouldn't load and didn't receive email until 7:27.

256GB Pro Max Gold, Sep 24 Delivery
I turned off the wifi on my phone and got the order in @5:04 on the cellular network with no problems. The wifi tends to hang things up.

Last year there were issues with the Apple card being used for monthly payments, I thought they got that resolved. I gave up and just used my Amex for that reason, didn’t want to risk another struggle and delivery date slipping.

yeah, I was having the same problem so I just used my Chase card for the initial payment and I’ll change it later for the rest of the monthly payments.
