Gotta agree with everyone, this is a lackluster update from Apple for their next phone, I would have held off on upgrading but my MiL is needing a newear phone so ill be passing down my iPhone 11 Pro 256 to her and getting the 13 Pro Max 512. If apple does come out with the under display fingerprint reader or eliminating the notch next year, I will for sure upgrade again.

Pending charge just showed up on my credit card and I got my Citizens One email not to long ago! Need to log in soon and change my payment to my apple card for my loan and I still need to order a new case too. Likely will order the chalk pink case from Apple.
Update: We've moved to processing on Apple's site!

its gonna be a long week y'all!

LOL no, I have been doing this for a decade thank you, this is not my first rodeo. I was prequalified, checkout failed because of the Apple Card - like many in this thread. Obviously Apple or GS is having an issue.
This isn't necessarily true - I preordered with an Apple Card and it processed with zero issue. There may be a nuance with the use of the Apple Card for many but we had 3 preorders at our house all with Apple Card - zero issues. And anecdotal discussions here at the office have some who preordered with their Apple Card, also with no issues.

Actually, the order process was a long three days. If you succeeded in getting 9/24, the rest will be a breeze.

Anyone order the midnight color of bands or phone case? Curious of what it looks like.

I got the midnight case, and it’s a really dark gray color. See below, compared to the black Apple Wallet…

do you have the option to cancel the preorder when it gets to processing?

I also preordered with my Apple Card and had zero issues.

I had my order in at 5:02 AM PST. My 512GB Silver 13 Pro will be delivered on the 24.

Placed an order for 9/24 delivery for two 256GB Pro Max Sierra Blue.

I ran into a problem during checkout — I had 2 pre-orders (1 on iPhone upgrade program, and the other one using Apple Card monthly installments). The Apple Card preorder completed without issues. However, I couldn’t complete the iPhone upgrade program pre-order (grueling 60 to 90 seconds) as I continued to receive an error - your card cannot be accepted (Apple Card) that just worked fine for the Apple Card preorder. After 3 failed tries, I used another card and my upgrade program preorder went through- phew!

My question is — should I have paid the 12th installment before today’s launch day order? Trying to understand so I don’t run into this issue for future preorders, thanks!
No, the last payment will be included in what you paid today. Many of us seem to have had the issue with the Apple Card not going through for IUP orders. You didn't do anything wrong at all.

If you are IUP you needed to prequalify then no card info is needed. You just bought on you AMEX
Not true at all. You need a credit card with IUP orders to pay the taxes (you pay all the taxes up front) and the first month's payment, and that's the card Citizen's will also charge the monthly payments to unless you change it.

I don't. It says the order can't be changed at this time.
I am not sure how it goes for the IUP, but I ordered an iPad mini then realized I didn’t use my Mil discount. Went back and ordered another. The cancel button showed up on the first order about 6 hours after I placed it. Also, it showed up on web browser before it showed up in app.

The colors are nice and I wish there were even more, but there’s something about white shiny surfaces with polished stainless steel. Always gives me an “I, robot” vibe that I can’t resist.
Yea it’s pretty slick looking. I just hate the micro scratches that show up.

What a journey! I finally gave up and annoyed my wife (also at work) to use her debit card for the order, and guess what…

I’m still locked in for release day delivery! Just need to remember to change the Citizen One payment info once I get the loan number. Whew!
Glad it worked out for you! I bet you were a little nervous!

That's correct. I went through the whole pre-approval process without a hitch and still had to enter my Amex info this morning. Still got my silver 13 Pro Max 512GB ordered just a few minutes after 8am EST, 9/24 delivery date.
