I skipped the 3GS through 4S as I went to the dark side (Android *shudder* LOL) then came back with the iPhone 5 and have been upgrading ever since.

My first iPhone was the 3G, two weeks before the new one came out. So, I had to use my grandma's upgrade to get the 3GS. Back then, AT&T wasn't such a big pain to work with when it came to upgrades. And I have upgraded ever since.
My first was the 4 when it came to Verizon. The only one I didn’t get was the 5. Had a 5c and 5S.
In the meantime, I believe the image on the front of the box is actual size. So I put my 12 pro max on top of it and it does seem like the footprint of the 15 Pro Max is a bit smaller. But just barely.
Trading in phones with carriers seems so different than with Apple. What I've experienced when checking into it is they divide out the credit over 2/3 years and only give it to you monthly off your bill instead of all upfront where with Apple, you get it all upfront.

Same. I bought mine in July of 2007. I still have it too! Still powers on, and runs great. Certainly slow compared to today's models. I've owned every model since - with the lone exception of the iPhone 6S & iPhone 8 (I got the X instead).First iPhone was the OG, purchased in December 2007

My preorder for 15 Pro Max, 256GB, Natural Titanium went from October 4-6 to October 2 this morning. Not as big of an update as others here but I’ll take it! Hoping it continued to get pushed up and it delivers at least the week of Sep 25th!
My 1st was a 3GS too, then I believe 4s, 5s, 7, X, 13mini and now 15 Pro Max haha. I'm excited and curious how going from the mini to max will be. I liked the mini at first but it really doesn't fit how I use a phone now days. Battery sucks, screen too small and as a hobbies photographer I want a pro camera
My Apple Card Monthly Installments showed up in my Wallet right after I pre-pre-ordered last week, so my next event will be notification that it’s ready to pick up at the Apple Store this Friday. I guess I miss all the tracking frenzy, but I always got worried if something didn’t seem right.

Yeah! I remember the iPod Touch 😂 . It just wasn’t the same as the OG iPhone. Everyone wanted an iPhone not an iPod Touch. Fun good times!

had the previous charge declined by my bank cos they thought it's fraud, so now I'm waiting again
Thing is that my card is not american, couldn't select my country from the very short list (they have like Germany, France and few others) and I used my hotel address as my billing address... so hope it works. If my bank wouldn't have declined it first time, it should have worked tho even if the billing address is off.
Can't wait to land in NYC, I'll go from JFK straight to WTC Apple Store 🤣
Mine was iPhone 4. I had resisted AT&T until my desire for an iPhone won the battle.
Remember, it will stay on Preparing to Ship until Wednesday or Thursday even though the phone is moving.
