Already have my prequalification ready for a new 15 ProMax 1TB in Blue Titanium.

I guess I need to wake up close to 5 AM on Friday to make sure the pre-order goes through. That should be fun. Hopefully it's a couple clicks and then I can go back to bed. I worry the app will actually crash or be super slow though.

If nothing has changed from previous releases, in your order when you say you have a trade in, Apple will mail you a separate pre-paid box to return your device. Sometimes that box will arrive before your new device.

Haven’t had the larger size since the 8 plus! Coming from a 13 pro. Excited.

If I preorder this Friday and I select that I am going to trade in my 14 Pro and then it turns out I want to sell else where...is that ok? Will Apple just charge me the full $999 for the 15 Pro and I'm not obligated to send in the 14 Pro as a trade in?

I want to preorder with a trade in as a last resort back up option since I assume you can't add the trade in afterwards.

I'm selecting trade in but then selling on Decluttr as I'm getting $150 more. Since I'm financing I wonder how I'll be charged?

It is now 6 minutes past start time. The swearing turns into screeching. You continually refresh the page. At 14 minutes past start time you gain access to the store. Yah! You begin to complete your order you started on pre pre order day. You finally complete your order then suddenly notice your shipping date is Oct. 27th.

would suck for those who wants to pre-order for in-store pick up then you have to wait till at least very late thursday night or early friday morning for the pick up email. Ill be going with in-store pick up this time around. So I’ll definitely miss the shipping boat

I don’t wanna miss out on all the flight excitement but I also won’t be home…🤯

How does esim work if I move to the EU next year and need to switch to a different carrier? On Verizon in the US now.

Get a (local) European Esim card…
Or to stay in the mood of this thread: buy a new IPhone next year which might still have a regular sim tray (the 15th still has a regular sim tray this year for European phones…)

Depends upon how he handles photos. I take many photos with my 128GB iPhone. They are sent to iCloud and Google Photos. Still have about 50 GB empty on my phone.

Accessory wise, you can order those now and pick up on this Friday or have them delivered before the iPhone arrives/becomes available. A good way to lessen some of the headache/anticipation of everything arriving when you aren’t home or at the end of the day.

Anyone have a guess at what the chance is of the USB-C not working with my car (not CarPlay)?

I have a 2016 car that doesn’t have CarPlay, but does have a nice sound system. In order to get the most out of that system, I plug my iPhone into the USB-A port, and it is recognized as an iPod. Do you think the change to USB-C will mess with my car recognizing the new phone? I can’t think of why it would, but I don’t know enough about how it works. TIA

The 4 main U.K networks (3, EE, O2 and Vodafone,) offer eSIMs (some of the MVNOs do too, but not all yet).

Pre-pre-ordered the White Titanium 1TB Pro Max today. Used my Apple Card again so I had to go through the carrier this time (T-Mobile). It's pretty frustrating that Apple removed the ability to purchase unlocked phones with their card for no reason.

Friday is going to be chaos.
