First time I’ve ordered an iPhone online as opposed to pickup at an Apple Store or through Verizon. I’ve got the UPS tracking info so not worried about the delivery (it’s currently sitting in Louisville, KY!), but does the Apple Store app not stay current with the latest delivery info? Through the app it still says preparing to ship when it’s shipped from China to Korea, to Alaska, to Louisville.

For my case choice, I went with the Apple MagSafe clear case again. Been running it for 1 year and a half on my 13 Pro. No yellowing. Awesome case.

Apple App won't change till it clears Customs in KY. So more than likely Thursday and then the damn will break with updates.

Out of all the Apple cases this year, this is the one I am running with on day 1. Looks killer with the saddle brown MagSafe wallet until Target gets me my Umber case for this Friday lol

Not the biggest fan of the Apple silicone cases, but I'm considering picking another one up this year. I'm thinking either cypress or clay to go with the white 15 PM I'll be getting. Which do you think would match the best?

All you have to do is sign up for a UPS My Choice Account which is free and you should see all the items being shipped to you via UPS. As long as you put the address in the account that are shipping the iPhones to then you should be good.

Yes, I wish it were that simple, but my UPS account got hacked. As a security measure, I had to delete my My Choice account and create a new UPS account. The catch is, I can't create a new one until Friday when the iPhone arrives. I've been dealing with this all week.

It’ll update tomorrow in the app most likely after the Import Scan. You are all good.

The only two things I ever felt like the 4/4S was missing at the time was an FM Radio and LTE. Otherwise it was the perfect iPhone.

I feel you and sorry you are dealing with it. You also will never get the same answer twice. It feels like a waste of time to contact them, but you know you need to in order to be ready to get delivery of a package with signature demands and a deadline for when it will be returned, etc.

I know UPS delivers oodles of packages, but I question their logistics often. They at times, seem to have a stringent set of rules supported by a support team that is inconsistent.

It's not that big of a deal. It's just more annoying than anything else. My package will arrive on time on Friday. And I'll get the tracking number from Apple tomorrow and I'll get to see what "wave" I was in during all these shenanigans. It's all good in the hood.

Yea it’s my second favorite. Was always leather until Apple forced me to become carbon neutral 🙄

I’m going natty titanium, Cypress silicone, and Umber MagSafe wallet. It’ll be a banger combo. I will check out Clay once the Apple Store gets back to a normal schedule next week. 5 mins away from my house. Spoiled.

Nothing wrong with that! I still have several of my old iPhones too. Mine typically get passed down to the kids and then when they get the next hand-me-down, I usually just keep the old iPhone since there is more sentimental value to me than trade in value.

This makes sense - and I have done this in the past which is why I still have the very first phone. But oddly, the iphone 13 was 1) not wanted by the kids - they each bought their own this year - iphone 15s for everyone!! But 2) it didn't hold any sentimental value whatsoever - all my others have and I have them. But this one didn't so off it goes. I don't know why I have such a detacment to the 13 pro...

I got Guava, but I LOVE grey, so I think I might exchange for the Clay.

Had that case on my 13 Pro Max.

Going by your picture, I wouldn't say no yellowing. It's clearly yellowed. I would say it doesn't yellow nearly as much as other clear cases.

Consider me jealous. I'm in So. Utah so the closest Apple store to me is about 3 hours away 😒

May be off topic, but I just wanted to shoutout everyone in this thread. This is definitely the most civil, and respectful thread on MR.
This is besides the point, but I am going through a rough divorce right now, and ever since this thread has populated, it has brought me as much happiness as possible, so thank you, everyone. And thanks for coming to my ted talk. Now, back to apple/tech things 😝

Wishing you the best and as much peace through that process as possible. I am glad you are getting something from this thread - it is a bright spot for me when I can catch up and see everything that's going on. It always does, along with the option of printing out a form on the Apple website for an e-signature for the package if I'm not going to be home. But I'm going to be home, watching my front yard like a crazy person.
