Are you going to order the new iPhone 15?

I know I can probably find this online, but if you setup as a new iPhone are you restoring all your messages and photos via iCloud? Or is it completely empty? I know setting up as a new iPhone is the "best", but it takes longer! (also I'm several pages and hours behind).
Photos are automatically saved (though you can double check to be sure). iMessages are not unless you toggle them to be saved in iCloud in your iPhone settings. I would do that prior to getting your new phone. If you don't, you will lose all of your messages when you set up as new. I always do a manual iCloud sync on my old phone before setting up the new one.

That’s unfortunate. Sorry to hear that. Reading earlier it looks like you set up for in store pick up. You could try reordering it on Froday morning at 6 am and see if you can another order? Im sure they will have plenty of stock for the pro’s. Pro maxes not so much but chances are apple will update the store inventory.

id say email tim cook and see if they will help?

Natural titanium is kinda low in stock on Pro too... had to try half a day to get it back on Sat...

But I'll deff try.
 
Yep, have to check back at 6 am local time where you live and apple will enable it at that time.

So you’re saying at 6 am local time Friday I can go to the Apple Store app and hope there’s something in stock for pickup? I’ve never done it that way since I always am good at pre ordering but this years preorder was total garbage and it resulted in my preorder being canceled by AT&T due to them overselling preorders

Okay, that's what I thought...

Go to your order listing page online. Scroll down and you'll see a "Chat now" button. That is the absolute best way you can contact them to get your existing order worked out. This is how I resolved all my post-iPhone 12 Pro cancellations (insanely long story lol) - and now I, officially, have no cancellation issues. They'll ask for your billing address, name, and last four of your phone number to verify who you are. After that, they'll take a look at your order from their end and you can go from there.

And yes, I do have this whole process memorized.

This will be my 15th time calling UPS in the last several days and nobody will give me a tracking number for "security purposes." So, I'm done. And I'll get the tracking number from Apple tomorrow. I truly hate UPS.
That's wild. So many people got their tracking just fine by calling them. Why do you always get a runaround from UPS. What did you do to them?
 
Chat isn't working lol. Or do I need to be physically in the US? (Im in Europe until next week). Like, Chat option is not appearing at all
 
Ugh…just got a notification from Keyway that the leather case in Whiskey color is back in stock. Having just received the Nomad leather case, I don’t really need another one. The Keyway, however, looks identical to the Apple leather case, in terms of design. Someone talk me out of ordering it.

 
Yes, I wish it were that simple, but my UPS account got hacked. As a security measure, I had to delete my My Choice account and create a new UPS account. The catch is, I can't create a new one until Friday when the iPhone arrives. I've been dealing with this all week.
I think you have been dealing with this since last year. UPS Failed!
