So lame!! I would have chosen in store pickup if I’d known UPS pickup wasn’t an option.
Quick get on the phone with Tim, this is a great idea... At next years keynote they will brag about how much waste they saved the environment by re-using the shipping boxes for all trade ins.

All of my items are shipped I can’t wait until tomorrow!!! Apparently my pink iPhone was already in the states. It finally showed up in my choice this morning and it’s one state away in PA and I’m in NJ. My watch and 15pm import scan was completed in KY this morning at 9:18.

ok then i might be remembering my iphone asia tour year where it got into IAD early morning, which would make sense since they had to hustle with that one. truck makes more sense for us with all this time!
Very well could be - I put that up there to leave hope out there in the event people don't see arrival scans at 5PM today...

They moved the Houston flight back up from 10:08pm to 4:46pm. Wish they'd make their mind up!

UPS doesn't pass by my street until after 7pm and sometimes even as late as 9pm... I must be all the way at the end of their route. The one year I chose shipping it drove me absolutely bananas and I vowed to do in-store pickup every time after that
I feel your pain. I live LITERALLY right in between two of the bigger hubs in Montana and I’m always one of the last to receive shipments. Here it’s about 4:00 but on iPhone day it’s usually closer to 6:00
The good thing is yours is coming from the USA, so you still have eons of time.I did!! This is what I see in Aftership currently.

Received AppleCare+ POC for one of my two phones, the other will roll in within about 30 minutes... So far the sequence for me has been:
1. Notice phone changes to "Shipped" status in store portal.
2. About 15 minutes alter, receive shipping notification email from Apple.
3. About 15 minutes later, notice import scan in UPS My Choice.
4. About 2 hours later, receive AppleCare+ POC email.
5. About 10 minutes later, receive Trade-In box shipping notification.
The second phone for me, so far, has been about 30 minutes behind the first in that sequence.

They definitely don’t want them getting anywhere early enough to accidentally get put on a truck today. People forget that other than the trucks UPS’ prime workday is the graveyard shift.
Am I crazy to get a 1TB phone? The main reason would be that I put a lot of music on my phone, and would be able to keep it at high-res, instead of down-sampling to 256acc. Of course, I remind myself that I listen to the music in my car and walking around with my earbuds (Sony WF 1000XM4), so I'm not going to get great sound.
