I’m still here, don’t have my phone, and trying my best to keep the thread active 🙂. Is it true that if you have your in-store QR code, you can go ahead and pick up your phone?
Not even ordering right away again, and I love to read this thread

I'm updating my iPhone 14 now to see if that will work. 17.0.1

My 14 PM was already on 17.0.1. eSIM transfer failed again. At least the one on the setup screen. It is now restoring from iCloud then I’ll try again to manually transfer the eSIM from Settings > Cellular.

In the Apple Store now waiting to hand in my trade-in. It’s not as insane as I thought it would be. Still plenty busy.

Keep us posted. I’m holding off on setting up my phone for now to see if this is avoidable.

East coast and UPS still hasn't updated my tracking to "out for delivery". It still says its estimated for today but I'm losing hope haha

My bet to cancel my Oct 16-23 online order paid off. I got a pickup order placed with a time slot tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

Pro Max 256GB Titanium Blue.

iPhone 15 Pro, 512gb, Titanium Blue delivered and setup! This has been the easiest setup I have ever had. The transfer from my iPhone 13 Pro's SIM card to the eSim in the 15 Pro was seamless. It was done in a couple of minutes right at home and I even got an email from T-mobile letting me know of the transfer incase there was an issue. Considering in the past I had to go to the store to get setup I am amazed and very happy!

FYI for anyone using a Zagg tempered glass protecter: This year's version does not cover any of the bezel, so has to be perfectly aligned to cover the entire screen. Kind of creates a weird distortion at the edge, but I'm sure I'll get used to it in time.
