Yeah it doesn’t show an option on the ups my choice. It just shows leave to neighbor. I even talked to the supervisor on the phone when I talked to ups. Do I have to subscribe to ups premium. I am gonna wait for it on Monday when they come. Hopefully they come early. Im gonna try to call the hub and see if I can pick it up there

No you don’t have to have a premium membership to have it held for pickup. There is a $6.99 fee if you don’t have a premium membership. I could only have it held when I requested it on my laptop and not my phone.
 
That was my night last night, as well. I ended up giving up.

My current issue is my phone number won't fully transfer over to verizon from google fi. Didn't have this much of an issue moving my number from AT&T to Google Fi, now I just can't get it OFF of Fi

I had to call and speak with a tech over the phone who activated my phone for me. It took about 30 minutes. She didn’t have to transfer anything from my 12 Pro Max.

I ordered my max pro from apple as a Verizon phone. The update from the xr maybe took at 25 minutes and couldn’t be smoother. After the initial reboot I updated to 16.0.1.
 
I actually picked up 14 pro max at apple.... I saw they had 1 available this morning at my store. Activated it fine on another line. SO then I want to swap it to my phone line (I wanted to keep the 2 most current iPhones).... Well guess what, Verizon said it will take 8 days for them to swap the lines, because I just upgraded the phone.... what??? Last year I did it immediately - same situation.... :(

I watch the UPS truck on the live UPS tracker and it went to every single neighborhood around mine except mine and then went back to the warehouse 25 min away. 😤 It still shows out for delivery for Saturday, however when I click on the tracking number, it shows the date changed from today to Monday. 😢

I ordered mine through Apple as well. It was a headache to activate eSim. The Verizon employees didn’t fully activate so the tech on the phone was able to fully activate it for me. So far so good.

That sucks. I’m sorry you had this happen. This is one reason why I have my phone held at the hub in case the driver do something like this, or say I didn’t come to the door fast enough.

It only gave me the option to leave with a neighbor. The live tracker option wasn’t available on Friday or I would’ve been able to drive home and grab it once it was close. Hopefully it still works on Monday because I have to work.
 
I ordered my two iPhones on Saturday for me and hubby. Both 1 tb - silver and space black. Estimated date to ship is Oct 14…
 
Well, Verizon really got me with the promos this year. I'm on US Mobile currently, so I was eligible for the $1,000 off the 14 Pro. Then with the $120 off the watch and half off the watch service line, I added the Ultra with the starlight alpine strap. Then I noticed I was now eligible for Verizon 5G home internet, which I was not before, so this I'll be able to switch my internet to them for $25/month instead of the $90 I pay now. With that saving, plus the promos, I'm getting a 256 GB 14 Pro in space black and an Ultra and internet for the same price as what I currently pay just for mobile service and internet service separately.

Ordering process was smoother than I expected given how notorious carriers are for messing stuff up, and my phone is scheduled to arrive on the 16th and the watch on the 23rd. The longest and toughest part of the process was getting my port out information from US Mobile.
Have you determined if the watch will ship on the 23rd or arrive on the 23rd?
 
It has not. Currently says backordered Ships by 9/23.

iPhone 14 Pro Max said Deliver by 9/16 so I’m thinking there’s gonna be a delay by a few days on the watch.

What does your order say?

It says it’s estimated to deliver on 9/23.

What made you upgrade? I thought you didn’t want to upgrade because of the cases you purchased?
I know… I think when I was at work setting them up (I work for one of the major carriers) I realized how much quicker and efficient it was. It felt like a worthy upgrade. I do like my case and will keep it as its artwork but I can get another one made. 🥰
 
Verizon botched my order for the second time and had to cancel it for the second time. Is it better to order via Apple, Best Buy, etc. Can Apple at least keep the credit cards and shipping addresses straight?

Back story in case anyone is interested: We have used this same company address with Verizon for 10+ years as a customer. Monthly statement showed up fine and we have paid the bill every month. However, upgrade does not work on website, so we call Verizion. Person on phone takes order and we get order number. We get order confirmation order message with Sept 28th delivery. Yesterday (7 days after ordering) I get a message saying we need to pay $35 or they are going to cancel. I thought the guy on the phone did this, but what the heck. I click link on message and try to pay $35. Verizon system says, "we had an issue". I call Verizon and they say they cannot see the issue. We get sent to supervisors, backroom support, etc. and no one can figure it out. Finally last person says. "But, we will cancel the order and you can try again." I ask does that move me to the end of the queue. Silence. And then, "... I assume so". I ask, "Are you sure this will order will go through!!!" Long silence. "Umh, we have tried all we can do ... You need to reorder after this order cancels in a couple of days." WTH.

Yes I love my 14 Pro Max. The upgrade was worth it.
