Back story in case anyone is interested: We have used this same company address with Verizon for 10+ years as a customer. Monthly statement showed up fine and we have paid the bill every month. However, upgrade does not work on website, so we call Verizion. Person on phone takes order and we get order number. We get order confirmation order message with Sept 28th delivery. Yesterday (7 days after ordering) I get a message saying we need to pay $35 or they are going to cancel. I thought the guy on the phone did this, but what the heck. I click link on message and try to pay $35. Verizon system says, "we had an issue". I call Verizon and they say they cannot see the issue. We get sent to supervisors, backroom support, etc. and no one can figure it out. Finally last person says. "But, we will cancel the order and you can try again." I ask does that move me to the end of the queue. Silence. And then, "... I assume so". I ask, "Are you sure this will order will go through!!!" Long silence. "Umh, we have tried all we can do ... You need to reorder after this order cancels in a couple of days." WTH.

Wow I’m so sorry. For Apple, you’ll have to keep checking everyday if you want store pickup. As for delivery, the dates have been pushed out to sometime in October.

Yes the camera is so much better. The night mode is better. I’m still playing around with it. So far I tried to play around with the night mode.

I've always found preordering through Verizon to be a good experience, but I had a great experience this year. Was in meetings and ordered the 14 Pro Max an hour in. Was quoted a 9/23 delivery date. On 9/15, I was shocked to see it ship out with next day delivery. I ended up getting it on launch day!

I’m hoping my 10/14 ship date is just an over estimate and mine comes sooner!!

Meanwhile I ordered 1 minute in and won’t get mine till Wednesday with 2 day shipping…

I'm still waiting on mine. I wasn't able to get online until afternoon on preorder day, so my estimated delivery is this Friday 9/23. Then on Friday last week, I had that my payment through Apple Pay was declined, so I had to update my payment info. I was camping by then, and didn't take my purse (made hubby pay for everything :) ) so I couldn't update my credit card info until Sunday (forgot, got a new credit card, so expiration date and CVV changed).

Sitting at Order has been confirmed, and will be ready to ship soon. I'm ok with Friday delivery, since I am home on Friday. If it's Thursday, I may see about taking the day off so that I don't miss it. Tuesdays and Wednesdays don't work since I can't take those days off work, so kind of glad it isn't coming early.

One year I ordered phone to be delivered at work, and it came about 6:30 or 7:00 so I had to stay until it showed up (I'm done at 4:00), so figured I'd try home delivery instead.

Ordered 2 Phones:

1 - iP14 Pro DP 128GB - Ordered 9/11 ~ 10am - Original Est. Ship 9/23 - Actual Ship 9/19 - Delivery scheduled 9/20 (today)
1 - iP14 Pro Max SB 256GB - Ordered 9/11 ~ 10am - Est. Ship 9/23 - No Updates

Of course the wife's DP Pro will be here before my SB Pro Max.

What is the actual time Apple Store updates stock online? I tried 10AM but saw nothing. I've also read 8AM 10PM 3AM every three hours........

I actually had the same problem, but don’t know why my payment was declined when I used Apple Pay.

I used the link to resubmit my payment and still have a 9/23 delivery date. No movement yet.

I just checked my credit card, and it's been a pending charge, but is now officially charged to my credit card, so guessing it'll be shipped very soon now!

No I pretty much always get the carrier alerts before any update from the merchant. Some are so bad, I'll have the item and finally get a shipped email.

Oh okay, it was shipped days ago and in my town and coming tomm. Verizon still doesn't say shipped so I was worried.. Thanks

Yea that's even worse when the actual site isn't up to date. Sometimes it is if I take the time to look, but just no emails come
 
Not sure if this well help you guys, but I ordered my phone on late 09/16, delivery date supposed to be 09/23. But today I received a message from Fedex that it’s on the way and will be here on 09/22 via 2 day delivery option. It’s shipping from PA.
Also I can see on VZ portal that it has shipped. Pro Max 256 GB Black. I’m located in WA.
