I would like to buy an 18-inch MacBook Pro like the most people.
We are still waiting.
why not buy the 24" imac since the gap is so small

So, I want 16' to be a little bit thicker! More sturdy and solid.
Bring back usb-a ports, at least!
If those leaked schematics and every rumor from the past 6 months is to be believed then unfortunately we aren't getting a USB A port. I'd much prefer that to HDMI or SD, but Apple don't build these machines for me!

Personally I don't want it to be thicker as I lug it with me most days, so the thinner and lighter the better, but I understand the desire for that.

heavier than the current 13" air? we dont know since a redesign is taken place for the next year ...that it will go thiner and lighter ...so the next M2 13" Mba will be lighter than the current one, and if they will ever make an 15" Mba can also be around the same weight as the current one...but i doubt Apple will go for a bigger MBA..or they could go for if they remove the 13" Mbp and stick with 14 and 16" and for the air with the 13" and the 15"
Why would I compare a then-new mba with the old model? A mba with a larger chassis (and therefore bigger battery and display) will always be heavier compared to a smaller one.

I don't want a thin MBP thats means smaller battery.
There are always compromises in laptop computers. But I'm guessing the new MBP 16 will be thinner and lighter than Intel version and will have better battery. I can't be sure about this, but it's just a hunch. Please correct me if rumors are pointing to the opposite of this.

HDMI port and the leaked schematic. You can't go thinner but lighter yeah you can.

I'm going to have such a hard time giving up my 16" MBP. I recently got an unbelievable deal on at 32GB 2TB 5600M Machine and it runs just so perfectly. Rarely makes a sound and I can't believe how much better this performs than the 5500 4GB model I owned previously. I know I'll end up doing it, but might wait a little bit to see how these are performing.

We’ve seen enough leaks of iPhone 13 (boring), Apple Watch 7 (not interested), Airpods 3 (not interested), and even the colorful Q2 2022 Macbook Air, but I wonder why the lack of leaks about this year’s Macbook Pro? And the fact that we may have to wait a couple of months more before we can get it in hands is totally sickening.

‘Must have’? Don’t think so. The standard Apple provision is very good imho.

But I am interested to learn of additional apps for the Mac.

coconut battery is one that springs to mind.

does a vpn qualify?

We saw renders of those devices, not leaks as far as I know.

Doesn’t the leaked case drawing tell you almost everything you need to know?

I guess screen tech and details about the M1X/M2/M2X could be of interest, but other than that?

Think you've posted in the wrong thread!

No TouchBar and MagSafe charging port and I'll be happy. I just hope my 2015 MBP lasts the distance till release.
Reckon you're gonna be super happy.
These last couple of months you'll be jumping at every beachball, every screen flicker and every long start up!

where are the MBP leaks?! not renders. Not coming.
I'm wondering the same thing! As of today, we are officially in September so if the latest rumors are to be believed, we are getting these things next month... Let that sink in. We also know these things are in mass production and have been for some weeks now... so somewhere in a warehouse right now are completely assembled Macbook Pros in their retail boxes ready to ship to us.

I think the fact that we haven't seen anything just shows that Apple has really beefed up their leak prevention measures. However, they can't hide it forever. This close to release, I think we should start getting leaks any day now.
