It just says "Not yet shipped" and "November" on both the Danish and the US Apple Store.
It's very strange.
It's only 2 days ago that I called and confirmed that everything was OK with my VISA card etc.
So it can't be payment problems holding up my order... Hmm.
PS. Did you order extra RAM or HDD or anything?
I ordered 8GB RAM, but that shouldn't matter as it's already BTO because of the i7 processor.

No I didn't add anything accept iWork, I intend to buy some 4GB 3rd party RAM blocks (whenever they get priced reasonably)
I suspect that it is the addition of RAM that delays the order, albeit it is a small upgrade, I suspect that Apple are shipping the non-customized i7's first

I thought about asking for a remote, but my Harmony will work just fine. My iMac also shipped WAY earlier than I expected, as I was planning for the worst and expecting the 30th before I heard anything. I have no room to complain.

Mine only shipped today and it was ordered on 20th Oct. So with some luck you may get an update tomorrow!
yeah, I think Apple did this probably for the best, they can't send out a machine full of malfunctions, or send a couple of costumers 2 days after annoucement and let the rest wait for 3 more weeks.
All of this would ruin the company's name and reliability.

Was partly holding off wondering what will they do early next year (simple spec bump or poss finally put blu-ray in or bump the GFX) and partly as I'd like a better GFX option as the Machine will be for Mac stuff and Windows games. In the end decided that I could be waiting forever and it there is an important enough change I could try selling it on down the line. *Fingers crossed*
