How is this happening? Out of curiosity did your tracking information show it coming or did you enter a void? I'm sitting "in transit" for coming up on 2 days and no movement. Mine is scheduled for Monday, and it would be a super happy surprise if it actually showed up. I'd find it hard to believe it would not be scanned into the system here though. I fear that some of you are just very lucky.Did you pay for express?
Mine is W653 so what is my date of procurement ?
I still have no shipping date and the money has been charged out to my Amex since Monday ;-)

I think Apple is being dishonest about the whole first come first serve based on the fact that people here like the post above clearly have ordered after me and others yet their orders have shipped.
This is complete BS.
I agree. You should cancel your order and pick up a Dell in retaliation. This is complete BS.
Puts it in perspective - it's just a computer. Late but no lives lost is perfectly fine with me.Macbook shipping from Shanghai - I was excited so I kept checking on FedEx. On day two the status said "Delivery Exception - Shipping Problem" with a location of some city in Japan. Then I saw on CNN that a FedEx plane had crashed in that city coming in from Shanghai, killing the 2 pilots. Sure enough my macbook was on that plane and had been destroyed. So they ship a replacement a week later via UPS. A couple days later I check the status: Anchorage Alaska - delivery Exception - Natural Disaster. Turns out a volcano erupted near Achorage which closed down the airport for several days due to the ash plume. In the end, after paying for expedited shipping it took 3 weeks for it to finally arrive.
did you still have the same order number even thought it was canceled or did you get a new one?
