Waiting for 27" Quad to SHIP thread

I'm happy

Ordered a 27"/i5/8GB/2TB on 11/13 (Friday). Spoke with Apple today on another matter and had them check. Went to delivery today, although my order says Ships November on-line. She guessed the 30th for delivery, which is perfect since I'll be out of town next week.

5 days from order to shipped. And I got my printer yesterday. (I'm in Florida, BTW)
 
I ordered the i7 (only upgrade was the i7 chip) on 11/10 @ 1:30pm PST, just recieved shipping notice last night. Delievery is scheduled for 11/24 (in Portland, OR).

I was surprised to see it was shipping from Shanghai!
 
Im just sittin her listening to BTO - You aint seen nothing yet (thats a song).

Still no tracking number. Ordered 2week and 5 days ago. feels like forever.
Shipped: 14 nov. Really do hope it arrives next week. I get at least to go skiing this weekend tho. hopefully thats makes the time fly by i little faster.:cool:
 
Cancelled And Happy

Well im sticking 2 fingers up at apple online, by purchasing my lovely 27" i5 from the apple store in bluewater!

What a waste of my time, ive never been more unhappy with the online store. I ordered my i5 on the 23rd, today is the 18th, its 27days later and my machine had not even prepared to ship!

The new machine is great, im very happy with it dont get me wrong there. But the level of service online, the lack of information online and over the phone its a big let down! Also the fact that people are ordering machines in Nov and getting their computers shipping before me is an outrage!

Ive had many macs this is the first time when online has let me down so much!

Same same.. Not Yet Shipped 20 days after i ordered it. 3 weeks tommorrow.. ohh how i plan to celebrate that one.

Apple should be including for free (or refunding if you have allready paid for it) the additional Apple care warrenty for the forgotton generation of customers that pre-ordered their macs and still havn't received them.
 
Hm. Status change on my order: says that delivery has been scheduled by final courier and gives "UK distribution centre" as courier now.

I'm guessing a load of machines touched down in the UK today/yesterday.

I'm guessing mine will go out to UPS or whoever tomorow, which should be just about too late to make it to Dublin before the weekend. :mad:

Well, I guess it's progress...just checked mine and still in Transit ,no tracking number dated 18th. Hopefully overnight something might change. This anticipation started out as quite fun but alas I'm finding it a little tiresome now:eek::eek:
 
Well with a bit of luck theres a pallet load of imacs in the uk ready to rock n roll.

As thats 2 of us with the same dispatch date etc im hopeful.

Thats said, this is :apple: and will prob be a mind game

Probably a bunch of standard models sent to the UK distribution centre.

Expect an 'In Transit', once or twice, don't ask me where it's going. Then 'Departed FedEx Location Anchorage AK'. That's where I am now.

For anyone who may still be wondering if FedEx "officially" delivers iMacs on Saturday (even with Express shipping), just read the special instructions of my FedEx details page for the iMac order:

*Indirect Signature Required
"

So, "officially" no.
