Waiting for 27" Quad to SHIP thread

Ships in 2 weeks, not delivered in 2 weeks. I assume you have the same Jan 14th ship / Jan 19th deliver dates as I have, as I also ordered my replacement Dec. 30th.
I am hoping they are still shipping a few days early.
Here's to hoping we get problem free iMacs, else I for one am throwing in the towel. There is no excuse for all these problems.
Ordered on the 23rd. Still waiting...
UPS said it would be delivered tomorrow, for like... 5 days.
Then it doesn't say exception, and show Wednesday, my expected delivery date just disappeared off the page. It's no longer there...
So I call. She tells me the Tuesday delivery date was probably an error.
How do they get away with that? EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I've ordered something shipped by UPS I always get told that my delivery date was an error.

I am one of those that is impatiently waiting. I ordered mine on the 29th of dec and told it will take three or four weeks, but I know that it is more likely 6 to 8 weeks so end of feb..... that is a really long time. I hope I don't have the problems that are described above, that would be a real bummer.

i ordered mine i7 on Dec 30th
it said ships jan 14th
and it is still showing ships jan 14th
and it shows not yet shipped .. not even prepared for shipping

Shipped on the 5th (was due to ship on the 8th)
It is currently 'Preparing handover to final carrier' on the Apple store status page.
I guess it might arrive this week. (Estimated to deliver on the 18th)
Not sure if this causes it to take longer, but I ordered a MDP-DVI connector at the same time!

guessing Apple doesn't like me either. That or they still searching for Portugal in a map, or google earth lolol
Got the 'Order processing' email from Apple today, replacement iMac dude to land on January 29th, hoping I have a reformed character
keeps us informed, does it have a time for delivery?
btw, where are u from, and did Apple shipped at the day they estimated or they did it sooner?
for the time you said it's there, i'm guessing....you'r from uk? or some other region in the same time zone lol. or i could be wrong

My 24" imac took it's 5th trip to the service center this morning. I'd had enough. Called Apple, asked what the chances of a replacement were. Next thing I know they are setting up the replacement. However since they no longer offer the 24" imac, they are sending me a 27" with the Radeon 4850 graphics. Hopefully that'll ship shortly!
