Damn you all, i want mine tomorrow too lol. I ordered mine Jan. 6 and it ships the 21st.

well, mine should be shipped tomorrow (14th)

Mine is shipping tomorrow too.

My replacement was supposed to ship by today, Jan 13. No change on Apple's order status page -- no warning change to "Prepared for Shipment." It still says, the now dreaded, "Not Yet Shipped."

Perhaps there's still a chance something could happen before Midnight tonight. It's now about 5:45 PM, Wednesday, Jan 13 here in Atlanta and 6:45 AM, Thursday, Jan 14 in Shanghai.

I hope we do. However, one usually gets "Prepared for Shipment" on Apple's order status page and then later, sometimes as long as a day later, the shipped e-mail arrives.

So are they running late on shipments? My replacement iMac i7, ordered Dec. 30th, is also scheduled to ship today Jan 14th. Status is still "Not yet shipped". I was not expecting Apple to push shipping until the last day of their estimates, but here we are 2 weeks later. The day's not over though.

Hopefully this means they are waking up to the problems and hand testing these units before shipping. We'll see.

I don't know if they are running late on all shipments but mine is late -- Jan 13 was my ship date. Your idea of hand testing is a good one. Although, It would likely be logistically impossible to test for the screen flickering/blackout issue since it often doesn't appear until a few hours after start up or waking from sleep.

My i7 was supposed to ship yesterday ( 13/01/10 ) and I have just received an email, and my status has changed - it has now been put back 7 business days with delivery expected to be between the 27th and 29th.

Ordered an i7/2TB/AppleCare iMac on 4th January 2010 from the Malaysian Apple online store.
Shipped 11th January 2010.
Delivered 14th January 2010.

Initial shipping estimate was 18/01/2010, expected delivery 22/01/2010.

I'm happy that it's arrived 1 week early! Won't be able to use it immediately though coz' I'm in Australia until the 25th.

Well it's almost 09am and there's no email or order status update, still not shipped. Guess it's still early. Just going to keep on waiting (again) for some changes to happend. I don't mind if they ship it late, if it means a good one :)

ohh well, gonna keep biting my nails off!

That's frustrating. I wish I could tell my clients on the day I'm supposed to finish their project that it will be another week. Classy Apple! If they are going to miss an order deadline, they know way earlier than day of.

Oh well, I guess I can wait one more week to get my prefect, defect free iMac i7 replacement, if that is what I have to do as well. No more mistakes Apple, they are testing my patience.

Good for you that you got your iMac early, but how does that even happen, when people that ordered custom configurations before you have yet to have theirs ship, and are even late. I know you said you are in Australia, but they all ship from the same place. Was yours a direct replacement or something?

Also, BTW, are you happy with it? Any Issues?

my I7 was suppose to ship yesterday, just got an email that it will basically arrive 10 days later than projects (arrive Jan 27-29). Not to happy about that...no reason..etc

I too received an e-mail stating:

"Due to an unexpected delay, we now anticipate shipping the following
item(s) as follows:

Z0GF, IMAC 27"/4850-512MB
Ships by 7 business days
Delivers by Jan 27 - Jan 29"

My replacement iMac was supposed to ship yesterday.

I am so tired of apple not being honest with customers

Their complete silence on all the issues with the imacs and now delays with production.

I am so sick of this.

If this delay means having an imac in good condition, however much it costs me, not even care about any delay in delivery. And I think those who are waiting for orders directly from the apple store to have much luck because here in Portugal there are those who have placed orders at the beginning of November and so far have not seen anything. and dealers do not know anything just say in principle only towards the end of this month or early February.

I understand your frustration and I too am impatient for my iMac to arrive. However, if this delay means Apple has a fix for possible defects, I will gladly wait.

My replacement is supposed to be shipped on Jan 20, but I already got an email from Apple saying that mine will be shipped a week later. :(

Let's hope this means we will get one with free defects. If not....

What should we do?
