Waiting for 27" Quad to SHIP thread

I think many of us are having their iMacs shipped at the same time. I live in the San Francisco Bay area, my iMac i7 is in Oakland, scheduled for delivery on Tuesday, but I know it will be here on Monday. TBH, you wasted your money paying for expedited shipping. It hardly ships faster. Apple's free shipping is just as fast.

WOW!!

What a BEAUTIFUL monday morning ( i never tought i would say that lolol ), just arrived at my work place, and the first thing i did was to go to the UPS site just to find out that the iMac is already HERE!!!! :D after spending the weekend in Germany, at 07h29 it was already here in Lisbon.

Now, it's a question of knowing when they deliver. Can't freakin wait to get my girlfriends sms :D

Hi Yakuza, mine is in Dublin. I'm have it delivered to work so my head is out the window looking for the UPS truck to arrive. Very excited. The UPS warehouse isnt far form my job but you'll never know when it will arrive. I'll keep you posted.
 
To my suprise, I received the "Your order has shipped" email last friday night :D

Where do i got to track the progress of the delivery? I cant see anything in the "My Account" section on the apple site.

Im in the UK if that makes a difference

In your account yopu should have 'track shipment' that you can click. This will give you a tracking number and the carrier (Fedex or UPS) go to their website and enter the tracking number. There you will see were it is and were it has been.

No way, I have it up and running here now showing off.
The IT guy here is a windows geek so had to rub it in. Connected to the server here in seconds.
Its a beauty. Screen is amazing. I will have a proper go later when i'm home.

iMac was supposed to ship 3 days ago, but got a call from Apple saying that the shipment is delayed due to the factory not being able to ship the iMac. Here's to hoping they're trying to fix the issues.

Mine apparently spent the weekend in shanghai (wish it was me there instead, lol) and is in the air on its way to europe. The new delivery date is now wednesday
 
Ordered my iMac 27" (i7, 8Gb ram) on Jan. 12, original shipping date was Jan. 26. On Jan 26. i got a mail explaining my shipping date was moved 2-3 weeks.

But, as many of you, i got a mail my iMac was shipped on friday (late night here). So, super, expected delivery Feb. 12, but i hope it will be sooner.

Only one small issue, i'm not getting any tracking number, which kinda sucks, i want to know when to expect it ;)

Last info i have:
Current Delivery Status: Shipment dispatched 30 Jan 2010

Don't care if it's still in Shanghai, just want to know where it's at :p

*edit* Hmmz, the fact i'm not having a tracking number might be because in my shipping method (order info) it says: "Merge In Tnst NL Til", which seems to indicate that some part of my order (probably the extra magic mouse i ordered for a friend) is waiting in Tilburg, The Netherlands and my order is going to be merged there and shipped by UPS to my home...

So, a lesson: order things seperatly, they'll get there faster ;)
 
My machine is in my city now. I think I'll get mine today too. Originally when it was shipped it showed it was delivering on Thursday. Happy Monday!
