5 - 7 business days

According to the US/Canada Apple store, they are shipping now in 5 - 7 business days. That would explain everyone's "quicker" shipping. As for the fixed/unfixed issue, apparently not.

i5 27" ordered on 2/12.
Original ship date: 3/1
Actual ship date: 2/18
Week 8 #718

Expedited shipping to US from China. Delivery by 2/24.

Ordered mine on Feb 1, still hasn't shipped. :( How long does it usually take Apple to charge your account?

27" i7 replacement:

Ordered 2/12
Original ship by 3/1
Original receive by 3/4

Actual ship 2/17
Actual receive 2/18

Hopefully this week 7 machine will have a better screen than the week 5 one. This one bypassed Anchorage and went straight to FedEx's Memphis hub which trimmed a day from the delivery (no complaints!).

Until after it delivers. :p

Hey everyone!

I've been reading about these 27" iMac issues... had a question for yall.

I just ordered mine brand new about 2 hours ago.. :)

.... soooo given all this stuff that is going on, do you think I will have any issues? and also... do you think mine will be delayed in shipping?

I ordered a 27" i7 Quad

It's going to come in full of scratches and will make a terrible high-frequency noise when in use. The 2 fans will be rotating at different frequencies generating unbearable subtones. Also, due to the overheating i7, it will automatically shutdown every-time you surpass 2 gigs of memory usage. The screen reflection will be so intense that you'll have eyestrain trying to read the fonts. The bluetooth mouse will disconnect every 30 minutes or so due to a malfunction. Worse computer ever.

Ordered iMac 27" i7 on: Feb 15
Already 'Prepared for Shipment' as of yesterday (2/17)

Original shipment ETA ( Standard ):
Ships: Mar. 2
Delivers: Mar. 5

So basically it took 2 days for it to change to prepped for shipment?

has it actually shipped yet.

Wow, Fedex tracking can be way off. Last night I checked my tracking and it changed from a delivery date of 2/19 to 2/23. And I just find out that Fedex tried to deliver a package today. I go online, check my tracking and what do you know - "delivery exception". I guess I'll be heading to the local Fedex and wait until 5 for another faulty iMac!! :D

No it hasn't. I'll let you know when it does. I'm in US btw
Note: ETA for shipping iMac 27" has recently changed from 2 weeks to 5-7 days.

EDIT: Shipping will probably delayed a few days because of Chinese New Year.

Not sure if I just got lucky but

Last night mine shipped with an exception and said, "Feb 18, 2010 11:41 AM - Picked up - SHANGHAI CN - Package received after FedEx cutoff."
Others had the same thing but with an estimated delivery delay. This morning I checked and mine said, "Feb 19, 2010 1:06 AM - In transit - SHANGHAI CN" and a little later, "Feb 19, 2010 3:28 AM - In transit - SHANGHAI CN."
It also says, "ON TIME" with an estimated delivery date of the 23rd.

Not sure about the deal with Fedex China and their holiday schedule but mine seems to be moving. I do know that I would be more comfortable if it reached the States today. :D

I don't know what all these delays are about. Mine shipped the 16th and arrived today. (Fedex)

It was a replacement though, so not sure if that has to do with it.

Got my i5 from MacConnection today. Week 5, yellowish on the lower right and ONE dead pixel on iSight LOL. For some reason, the DVDs came with scratches and the drive is so sloooow. :( will use it for a few more days and see.

Well after an extended break from this thread, I'm back to waiting.

I was the first one on here to post pictures of a 27" i7 iMac that had been received and it has had 3 repairs on it since then. First the hard drive completely quit working, and then I had two LCD swaps from yellow tint. I finally convinced Apple to send me a replacement machine. After waiting 3 weeks for delivery of my first machine, and working through repairs since, I'm really hoping my second machine will be great and shipped quickly. This is my first Mac and Apple threw in a free HDD upgrade to 2TB. I can't say they haven't treated me with the best customer support, with the upgrade and on-site service for all 3 repairs.

Finally, mine is here

Just received mine.
Ordered Jan. 22, received Feb.19

Perfect condition, no yellow; i7 with 8 gigs of ram.

May we ask what week it is? Look at the 4th and 5th digits of your serial number, ie xxx07xxxxxx means week 07.

Also, why is your poor MX Revolution in the corner? Do you really prefer the Magic Mouse that much over a mouse with so many buttons and a better ergonomic shape?

Also, I think your camera has a dead pixel (look at the cinema display stand). Time to get your camera exchanged o noez!

Hey thanks,
It's a week 7.

I just wanted to try the magic mouse for the install, this picture was taken hours ago as I was migrating my data (took 3 hours). I'm trying a few things with it today but so far I much prefer my Mx revolution!!!

Yeah I noticed the dead pixel, or maybe it's photoshop... I dont really care about my camera anyway ;)

Here is a picture of it running stuff (kinda dark, screen brightness messes up my camera flash):

Oh and yes, evidently my Nikon camera has some dead pixels.
