Waiting for 27" Quad to SHIP thread

oftheheavens, why do you think it takes a week to be shipped to Japan?

It's supposed to come from easter China... quite possibly from Shenzen/Shanghai, so it'd be landing sooner in Japan than the US, wouldn't it?

Do they possibly have to go to apple first then get distributed? I think I read that somewhere. I'm not sure because when I ordered my mbpro it came from china to states then to Canada (me.)
 
Hello guys, i'm new, from Italy. The situation here is the same. I've ordered the normal 27' Core2Duo but with HD4850 and have the same shipping date: November. Unfortunately i can't check if my card has been billed again already (I really hope so), anyhow this means probably 10.6.2 is coming out real soon and they'll start shipping today and on Monday (9th november, as play.com and many other shops said). Can't wait!!

about the C2D with the ATI 4850 it's in the Singapore apple store and it says 4-6 weeks. The quad core still says November.
 
I don't mean to add to the hysteria that surely will erupt tomorrow, but a quick Google search netted this:

So, yeah, that's the official word on when your credit card is supposed to be charged. Assuming Apple didn't make a mistake, these beasts are shipping soon.
 
YAHOOO!!!. I received my printer that I ordered yesterday this evening. I checked my credit card and it was charged but nothing for the iMac. Now, I just checked my credit card and it was charged for the iMac. This definately means good news for all of us that have been charged. I would imagine a delivery next week..... Finally. :D :apple: :apple: :apple:
 
does apple take care of all the pre-orders prior to shipping units to retail stores?
 
Anyone here from Australia who got charged... I order a Quad i7 on the 24th of Oct and still no credit charge so I'll just have to wait, and wait, and wait...? :confused:

i live in Australia orded my i7 the day it came out and have not been charged for it yet.....please love to have it next week hope we dont have to wait to second shippment
 
this does not look good for folks in Australia hopefully it comes out tonight so were good for next week...
 
Just placed my order for 27" i7 4GB + Applecare and Remote and expidite shipping through Apple EPP program. Says remote ship date 11/20.

I have to call in to switch my credit card but it seems they aren't open right now. Forgot to put it on the AMEX so I get points. :)
 
I ordered my i7 on the release day a few hours after the announcement and no charges yet. I did get my new alum apple remote late last week though.
 
My 27" i7 with 8Gb Ram & 2Tb HD is still showing a prospective shipping date of November 27th and a delivery date of December 8th. Only TNT could take 11 days to ship a box from Holland to Spain. Boo, I say. Hiss!:mad:
